Good job by GMB. I would have loved to see him in a debate with Jonathan. There is no doubt in my mind that Jonathan stands no chance against Buhari in a debate. Buhari has leadership skills written all over him. His poise and charisma is second to none. Buhari cannot be compared with Jonathan in every aspect of life. Jonathan would never had become a president in 200 years if he wasn't chosen by Obasanjo to run with Yar'Adua. Jonathan is an accidental president. He had absolutely no intention or leadership skill for the seat of presidency. People like Jonathan are born to follow.

Whoever advised Buhari to stay away from Channels debate has taken away extra 4% points he would gain from debating Jonathan. Standing side by side with Jonathan alone would have shown who the boss is.........
what kind of charisma can an illiterate have....hissssss

Thank you for your honest and polite inquiry. Hundreds of miles of NEW highway have been laid by the Jonathan administration, notably the Shagamu to Benin artery, which now takes 2 hours to travel instead of 8 to 12 hours. That highway is THE most heavily used road in the nation, and by refurbishing it so beautifully, thousands of lives will be protected for decades to come.

You asked for one reason to vote for Jonathan, but you will get three reasons out of MANY. The second notable accomplishment of the Jonathan government is the brand new railway network crisscrossing the nation, where NO rail network existed in the past. This huge project will boost Nigeria's economy in ways too many to mention.

Finally, there can be NO place in any modern society for an illiterate, mass murdering terror gang leader such as Boko Hari, and as such his defeat WILL be assured by the MAJORITY who are fully aware of just what a blood-thirsty demon that senile old chimpanzee has been for decades, and how much worse of a human disaster he has become today. Were the opposition party to have fielded a credible, highly accomplished and learned candidate like current Lagos State Governor Raji Fashola, the outcome of the election would have been EXTREMELY close, and, were I in the position to vote, I would have selected Fashola over Johathan any day.

By fielding a brain-dead genocide instigator, the opposition party have done themselves an ENORMOUS disservice that will most assuredly cost them the election, and you can take that to the bank sir.
If you were so convinced by ur above argument that GEJ has done well, then, why will you rather vote Fashola if he was fielded?

Since it was at marina, hope the OP passed through CMS and saw the filth it has become. Or the Central Business district of Lagos that resembles Onitsha market, right there beside Fasholas official residence. People that cannot clean the filth and log in their own eyes are screaming change everytime and telling us they want to cleanse Nigeria. Fashola and his people are jokers!

The debate is no issues to we Nigerians. Our mind already made up, Buhari may be name the Judas that sold Jesus, that wont change anything, enough of the lies of government statistics on poverty, inflation, unemployment figures etc. Nigerians go to bed on empty stomach yet the economy is growing, Jonathan is working. The only "warning" election must go as planned, those calling for extension or postponement on what ever excuse are the perceived losers. Even if all Nigerians collect their PVC, less than 60% will actually stand the sun to vote for our clueless and mindless politicians whose agenda is for himself and family alone.

When I hear or see people call Buhari illiterate, I laugh. If you listen to him analyse issues both past and present from questions thrown at him, you would know this man is anything but illiterate or gullible. My grouse with this present administration is the impunity, the humongous level of impunity, all those around the President have with respect to corruption. Asari Dokubo has become a don in Abuja, the reason he would not want GEJ to leave, and he is ready to kill to actualise that, God would surprise him.
Believe me, corruption has attained new heights in this administration and I am telling you that GEJ can do NOTHING about it. Na GEJ wan follow Dokubo talk? What power can GEJ pull? none. That's the reason we need a change.
Nigeria needs to be better abeg, we've had enough. Its not a matter of this man is from my place or not from my place.
People claim Jonathan cannot do so much in so little time. Lemme ask, in 2012 when Barth Nnaji was Minister of Power, electricity improved tremendously. Then suddenly he resigned, and what is the story today. May I ask, why did Prof Barth Nnaji resign?
This administration reeks of corruption, and the president can do nothing about it. C'est fini
I agree that GEJ hasn't fought corruption but Buhari is also surrounded by equally corrupt people. Atiku was investigated by the FBI for bribing a US congressman. Bukola Saraki only jumped ship from the PDP to the APC when the EFCC opened his file and invited him for questioning on how he looted Kwars state. Now he's one of the national leaders of the APC. Bola Tinubus assets were seized for drug smuggling in the US in the 90's. These are the characters and personalities accusing Jonathan of aiding corruption. In this same Nigeria! What a joke!

One only needs to see the men an women hired by the PDP wearing TAN T-shirts.They are touts with criminal record. At every of their campaign venue, you will see them smoking hemp/cannabis openly with all sort of alcoholic drinks. These are the kind of youths they want and expect all of us to be: a young man without hope/future, while their own children live and study abroad.

Buhari is bent on islamatize nigeria at all cost,

I am an APC member, but I disagree with the choice of the presidential candidate(Buhari),,,,I believe the APC leaders have lost focus......

Simply put, current Lagos State Governor Raji Fashola SAN is by a very wide margin the most proficient, compassionate, industrious, cerebral, articulate, insightful and innovative political leader EVER to have assumed office in Nigeria since the nation's independence in 1960.

By choosing an uncouth, knuckle-dragging Neanderthal savage called Boko Hari to represent the pinnacle of their political ambitions, Nigeria's opposition party have taken a gigantic leap of misplaced faith akin to bailing out the door of an airplane at 5 thousand feet altitude, while hoping to slow down their descent for a soft landing, utilizing only a brown-stained strip of toilet-paper clenched between their collective butt-cheeks.

Buhari or Buhari or GMB or whatever you may wish to call him is just one very decietful, power hungry old man who is bent on achieving the futile dreams of his founding father Othman Dan Fodio. Must read Brethren,
This is a desperate and urgent call from the throne of Grace that the brethren in Christ are about to make the greatest error of their lives by selling off their kingly heritage for a mess of pottage called "change". Change into what? Change into what happened to Egypt , Sudan, Lybia, Algeria and Turkey which were once flourishing Christian countries but because the brethren there also sold their souls on the premise of "it does not matter" they became the last set of Christians in those countries! Remember Turkey! It was the beautiful Christian country called Constantinople! Today it is history! The foundation of the planned islamisation of Nigeria was taken in 1989 in Abuja by OIC. Since then they have not looked back! Our Government gave them a contribution of 21 billion dollars then! Wonder then where the funding of boko Haram is coming from? They have painfully now infiltrated one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and offered one of their best Pastors -a Professor,a Vice presidential Slot! Now a larger community of that denomination now promotes this "change"! They did it in Constantinople ! Remember brethren, that's the biggest denomination of Christians in the North - the EYN has been wiped off! All their churches burnt. You may say that it is the North it can't get here! They said the same thing in Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Constantinople! How come the brethren have become so dulled in the Spirit that they no longer are sensitive?
We may be the last Christians in Nigeria if this great error the brethren is about to commit is not averted! Our Lord Jesus is greatly miffed by our irresponsibility as His Followers! How come we no longer hear Him! The Great shepherd of the Sheep! How come that Christians have forgotten that this country was made ungovernable by these same people and Christians are holding the wrong person responsible? How come? The signs of the eventual Islamization of Nigeria are awash in the 1999 constitution where Islam, Sharia are mentioned more than 100 times.! Not a single mention of Christ or Christianity! You say it does not matter. Now, mark it you cannot amend the constitution without a bitter progrom!
Brethren, the night is here! We must contend for the faith and our heritage which was handed once and for all to us by our maker

Thanks for the issue based response, Nigeria needs more of peeps like you, not all those busy hurling insults around.
I agree with you totally. If there can be thieves in church, there would be thieves anywhere. But let's ask ourselves, who between Jonathan and Buhari can actually deal with corrupt individuals? I would still reiterate and I can bet it that Jonathan doesnt have the clout to take really corrupt people up on their actions. If many of us hear what's going on in Abuja, jaws would drop. Corruption cannot stop, but we need a drastic reduction which GEJ cannot and wouldnot give.

Alaormii, Governor Fashola's sterling record as helmsman of the Lagos State Government speaks for itself.

With that in mind it is essential to recognize and praise significant milestones attained by those seen to excel at their careers in the public trust, so as to incrementally raise the bar NATIONWIDE, with respect to the level of verifiable education, and PROVEN on-the-job accomplishments that should be both expected and demanded of ALL who seek elected office at ANY level within the Nigerian federation.

From my point of view, the Buhari handlers know they are far ahead of Jonathan in their internal polls. This is the reason why they are getting cocky and they don't see why they should give room for an error. This is a case of playing safe. They are running a flawless campaign.

On the other hand, the Jonathan camp needs this debate and it is showing from far away that Jonathan camp is desperate for a gotcha moment. Conventional wisdom tells me Buhari camp knows more than what we know. There was intelligence report last week that Jonathan was given questions ahead of debate. Someone from Jonathan camp leaked it to Buhari campaign organization. Jonathan camp is filled with mole from APC. I still believe FFK is in Jonathan camp to hurt him. An intelligent person should know that FFK brings nothing positive to GEJ's campaign other than to hurt him. Feelers say OBJ planted FFK in Jonathan's camp and I don't have a single reason to doubt it.
I would be lying if I posit that the thought to ignored you did not cross my mind.

Nonetheless I believe it is instructive to temper the hallucinatory fantasies your likes are expressing ubiquitously all over the place. The foregoing is corroborated by the need to stem this obnoxious indulgence since the consequences can easily engender post-election violence and acrimony.

Received wisdom has it that you don't appoint yourself a judge in your own case. Or put in another way, communication works by feedback. Reactions should authenticate actions.

The world is watching to see how long this head of steam built on propaganda and sensationalism by APC apparatchiks would last.

Take for instance, the issue of presidential debate. While almost everyone, including APC supporters, believe that debates are a veritable part of the electioneering process, Buhari handlers are surreptitiously trying to discount the debates. They seem not bothered with what the rest of us think. Infact they believe they are thinking for us. They appear indifferent to the propriety or lack thereof of their line of action.

We shall soon know who is right.

Research have proved that r@pe and kidnap victims out of psychological trauma sometimes get attached to their oppressors. I think same is the case of Nigerians - they have been so r@ped by PDP government that they have lost their sense of pride and natural human desire for greater good. therefore mediocre performance often impress them.

Trying to talk sense to pro geJ fundamentalists is a waste of time. Its like flogging a dead horse. By the way, Nigeria has had more Muslim presidents than Christian ones and it has never been islamised. Nigeria has more Muslims than Christians population wise and there has never been an attempt to islamize this country so I don't know where GEJ people get off saying GMB will islamize Nigeria. Political nonsense!
