Sore losers. They are free to declare their republic after GEJ is booted out. Apparently Clark has not talked to Biafrans or asked them for any advise. mumu |

Pdp has now turn opposition party overnight...lol ...they don jam badluck ![]() When jonathan was voted in enmasse in 2011, Jega wasn't cooperating with the north abi? Its only now that the handwriting on the wall is as clear as daylight that he is now compromised. Pdp knows that whether they rig or not as usual they will still be booted out becos the odds are so overwhelming this time. The whole of the north plus more than 80percent of the south west and at least 50% from the SS and SE are voting for buhari...so rigging is not needed. That's why APC is so confident about the february dates and we say noooo to postponement ![]() |

Just a brief summary: 1. Jega has been meeting secretly with northern leaders and avowed enemies of GEJ re-election 2. Jega has agreed to play, but he wants the leaders to help him recruit more electoral commissioners who may help with plan 3. Jega has 2 sets of plans, one(the most favorable) for the north, and the o the for the south 4. Under this plan, Jega received 150 lap tops per state, used to enroll minors and kindergarten children as eligible voters 5. Note, Jega wants PVCs handed over to the emirs, chiefs, and community leaders in the north, while every southerners has to pass through the eye of a needle 6. Of course we know that Jega gave more than 20k new polling units to the north, and 8k to the whole south 7. Jega awarded contract to PVC to unknown people outside federal guidelines. More to come |

emmytrog:I don't believe you. You only created your moniker to spread this falsehood to buttress the notion that people don't have PVC. You just created this moniker to spread the same information from one thread to another. People who are serious about this election are the ones who have PVCs. The uncollected PVCs belong to people who did multiple registrations and can't pick the extra PVCs because of biometric data locking them out of the system. PDP and their lies sha! |

In order to win, a presidential candidate not only had to win a majority of the vote nationally, but also had to win a quarter of the vote in at least two -thirds of the states. In case no candidate mustered the required geographical spread of the vote, an electoral college composed of all federal and state legislators would have to choose the president. http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Research/Files/Reports/2015/01/foresight%20africa/nigeria%20elections%20adibe.pdf http://ecpr.eu/Filestore/PaperProposal/d468d68f-caed-4806-955c-b1d103bad92b.pdf Each president aspirant has to win at least 1/4 of the votes in at least 24 states. I always knew those numbers quoted for the north east and north west that these APC noisemakers on here use as a pointer to GEJs imminent defeat......all those numbers have been doctored, cooked, fabricated and concocted! Just imagine little kids having PVCs to vote! When i say this country is seriously fuc'ked up now some will say i don come again with my wahala! |

I am ashamed with leaders like South South leaders E.K Clark. Rather than support and encourage Prof Jega . they are busy tarnishing his image n the pages of newspaper. I don't think there is any grand conspiracy to victimize GEJ. The reason there is low PVC collection in the south is because there is very low voters apathy in the south compare to the north. In fact, I predict that there will be more voters turn out in the south than in the north. Most people I know in the south, including me, don't even plan on voting. Whats the point going to vote for the same corrupt leaders who don't really care about the people. Also, I don't see any reason why the north should not have more polling center because they have more LGA, States and population than the south. Prof. Jega is trying his best to conduct election in Nigeria and I think all Nigerians should support him. |

The same man that conducted election in 2011 and Goodluck Jonathan won is the same man these people are accusing. These election postponement advocates are brainless. |

IGBOSON1:Are you telling us that Clark brought some underage voters and showed them during the press conference? Looking young doesn't make someone underage voter. I recently saw my picture when I was 19 and I did look like a 14 year old kid in the picture. |

sincerenigerian:It's unfortunate, and this is one reason I believe they will continue to undermine the education sector. Every well educated individual would expect in such circumstance that Clark would at least provide a valid birth certificate for the supposed under-age or perhaps a statement from a parent or guardian. |

Even Balarabe Musa knows what's going on! http://www.elombah.com/detail.php?world=29785 The former Kaduna state Governor, Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa also alleges move to disenfranchise 26m voters A political interest organization, Credible Alternative Alliance (CAA) led by Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa has alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is tilting the distribution of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to favour areas believed to be strongholds of All Progressives Congress’ candidate, General Muhammed Buhari. The group presented a statistical analysis of the distribution of PVCs which showed the number of registered voters yet to collect their PVCs in various zones. According to CAA, South-East has (3,287, 530) , South West (7,411,205), South-South (3,844,370) , North-East (2,429,763), North West (4,835,556), North Central (3,907,849) and FCT(421,559). On the distribution of PVCs, CAA said it has observed "a criminal gross disparity of voter spread designed to tilt the election to a pre-determined outcome. The group insists that all the 68.8 million registered voters must be given unfettered access to freely collect their PVCs and cast their vote as provided for in the constitution, adding that it would be forced to take INEC to court if that condition was not met. "Let us call a spade, a spade. There are two main contenders for the Presidency in this election. The analyzed data above depicts a worrying trend. Voters in the zones that tend to support President Goodluck Jonathan are massively disenfranchised by the application of the so-called PVCs debacle, 40% to 50% of voters in the these regions who are lawfully and duly registered to vote will be denied their right to vote by INEC. "That is nearly half of the support base of the President, simply nullified by administrative (failure) prior to the election. By comparison, the zones that tend to support Buhari are handed a massive voter advantage, nearly 80% of his support base will be allowed to cast their votes by INEC. In an election, which many say will be won or lost by a slim margin, to now disenfranchise 26million voters through a questionable and unlawful rule by INEC is not acceptable by any measure. " CAA condemns in its entirety. This attempt by INEC to undermine our nescient democracy through this criminal enterprise to determine the outcome of this electioneer before the ballot is cast. While speaking on the controversy raging over the coming election, Balarabe Musa said there is no way INEC can be able to distribute the outstanding PVCs within the remaining two weeks. "INEC cannot meet up with the issuance voters card to all registered voters, even the PVCs is not being realistic because of the past failures in the past. For example, INEC is talking about distributing permanent voters cards. Let us assume that sufficient PVCs have been produced the commission, how is the PVC is still being distributed. " We have credible information that in some places in the rural areas, INEC staff take the PVCs for distribution and because of the disappointments of the past refuse to come out for collection of PVC. The commission staff then leave the PVCs to community leaders to distribute. I believe that should not be the responsibility of the village heads to do that but INEC. "Again, how can we realistically expect INEC to make PVCs available to every registered voter within two weeks, something they failed to do in many years.” |

Simply because Jega has refused to play ball with PDP, and seeing the rising popularity of GMB, that's why they are bringing up all this nonsense propaganda. |

This is an example of another post on how difficult it is to obtain a PVC in the south. https://www.nairaland.com/2134522/inecs-grace-okar-disenfranchising-over If you are not worried about this simple Jega tricks, it would be sad, because an umpire should not be biased at least not to the extent of holding strategy meeting with the opposition. |

plainol:Or maybe Jega has turned himself into a tin god, a monster, and a corrupt official. Why did he receive 150 laptop computers from this group without asking the southern governors if they would like to contribute computers too? You and me know how data could be transferred and manipulated via the internet these days, oh, yes, remember the man was the first to shout that nobody could hack his data - speaking in defense of the APC when the DSS alleged that someone was hacking into INEC data! You have to be 100% blind or partisan not to wander about some of these allegations, but lets see how things turn out. First, he has to get through the NSA first |

GEJ is so annoyingly confused and incompetent. Is there anybody here from eastern nigeria that wasn't worried that this will happen? He refused to learn from Aguiyi Ironsi and has surrounded himself with many fulanis, bending to breaking points to appease them even when all they do is stone him. He does this at the detriment of south easterners. How many northern leaders made igbos or ijaws their NSA bosses? You want me to believe that Sambo Dasuki, the current NSA boss didn't pick up anything on these dirty meetings between Jega and Northern leaders? Why should a commander in cheif be thiscowardly indecisive??. Now this. His field workers during this campaign deserve better. He is the incumbent yet has allowed himself to be boxed into a corner. This man can't lift a finger even if his life depends on doing so? Another ironsi leading igbos to political disarray with his octane level patriotism. |
