That day wont be about eating. You guys have been eating all your life, so leave Tantalizers, Sizzlers, Kilimanjaro, Mr Biggs, Crunchies and Tetrazzini out of this. Buy sandwiches and chilled drinks in a sandwich box pack and take her to the bar beach, the museum, the Ogbunike lake, Oguta lake, zoo, game reserve, polo park, etc. The important thing is spending time together. Last year, I and my girlfriend went to our church, Winners Chapel. We went around and finally settled down inside the church cathedral in the middle column of seats. It was a quiet moment of heart to heart connection.We held our hands as we sat there, thinking, reflecting and gisting. We were there for about 4hours and we didnt even know. When we got home, she gave me a hug and told me that she is committed to being the only girl in my life. I had hit a home run!!!

Aww. Maybe it's just me, but I find going to a restaurant on V-day too crowded, and it may a bit impersonal.

1. Surprise her with a picnic for 2 in the park (do you have scenic locations in your area?). It's cheap to arrange, and very personal

2. A spa date - wind down with massage oils, a hot aromatic pool and champagne

3. Cook for her. Especially if you don't really know how to cook, it should be a funny night. And I'm sure she'll eat your attempted meal with love lol.
