This is the same Stewpidity ALWAYS exhibited by you PDP supporters.

What is wrong...is ALWAYS WRONG, not minding who benefits.

Now, Senators, Governors, Ministers have all defected to another party at one point or the other and NONE was deprived of his priviledge, as an ELECTED OFFICER.

Personally, l think when you "defect to another party" you should loose your seat, ....the seat should be declared vacant and another election held to fill that seat.
That happened in a U.K election late last year when an elected officer defected to UKIP.......and another election was held as his seat was declared "vacant"... though he still went ahead to win that same seat.

BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THIS JUNGLE CALLED NIGERIA because PDP was always the biggest beneficiary of "defection" (being the ruling party) ..and it has supported this illegality since.

Now, imagine if it was this PDP Governor that defected to another party (say if PDP refused him a second term ticket).
Will HE VACATE HIS SEAT or WOULD HE BE STOPPED FROM FINISHING HIS TERM AS GOVERNOR, ON THE PRETEXT THAT HE IS NOW IN THE OPPOSITION?

When he now threatens his Deputy and wants to use "instrument of state to threaten his life" ...and you are here clapping for him probably simply because you dont like where the Deputy defected to, shows that you are yet to mature in your thinking faculties otherwise you would know that what the Governor is doing is called ABUSE OF OFFICE AND OFFICIAL POWER.

If we dont let the Governor know that what he is doing is WRONG, in the future, the TABLES WOULD TURN...and a Governor will do the same thing and maybe it is the "President" that would come to support the Deputy to say "The Governor cannot sit on Council meeting" because he belongs to an opposition party.

Abuse of Power should not be encouraged..... just on partisanship basis.
That is not how to build "strong democratic structures in Nigeria".
