I've been a faithful MTN subscriber since 2007 (8years and counting). MTN was my first love. I didn't for once step out to try any other network (started using Glo for browsing recently though).

I've endured the years of outrageous tariff, deduction of credit for callertunez which I never subscribed for, inconsistent signal. And then when other mobile networks gave out bonus at will to their customers, if MTN gives you anything for free, call them and beg them to take it back, because my brother/sister, you are not safe.. they would take it back in a hundred folds. I endured all that.

However, that's the limit. One thing I will never endure is the unsolicited messages that roll into my phone on a daily basis, there are days I get 41. don't look at me like that it's the truth. One time last year, I called them to complain about it, the agent that I spoke to apologised like she meant it, asked me to dictate the numbers that sends me the messages (I did, though it was stressful), she told me most of the messages where not from them and they were authorised by NCC or blah blah blah. I believed her (dumb me... I don't get such messages on my Glo sim) she promised i'd not receive them again.

Before I dropped that call, I had already received SIX messages, and it has been like that since then, the messages multiply each day (For christ's sake, God was talking to Adam and Eve, not to these devilish messages).

Well, I called them again today and threatened to sue them, then I realised I don't even know what i'd sue them for, (mobile nuisance or something?) I don't know.

LAWYERS IN HERE, PLEASE HELP!!!

Airtel ve joined them buh I think dat of MTN is quite annoying.

U can sue them for Line stalking or battery degredation.

Am not a lawyer buh I clean d law court..

NCC has a number 622 if we decide to bombard them with calls all through the week they may listen and tell all the networks to stop the unsolicited texts
lets sets a date and put a stop to this

Bros mine is in the range of 15-20....its really annoying.....maybe we cab sue them for Mental Disturbance or Expectation Mismanagement

chai mtn network na die, the way i receive messages consecutively from 5021,5020, 5030 u go fear, i even blocked these numbers all to no avail

Nigeria....(sighs) the system is just Bad, by now if NCC has not been compromised, this issue of unsolicited text messages, bad network, drop calls and what have you, would have been reduced drastically. On Sunday 15th of Feb, as at 5am, I started receiving text msgs from 5***, 4*** and 3***, I got at least 11 useless, hopeless, annoying unsolicited text msgs from this people, for what!!!, u call them, still they will not just stop. The annoying thing is that days you will be expecting needed Alerts, that is the day those bastards will decide to wake up on your line. By the time people start burning their mast, maybe that is the day they will stop. You use GLO, Hausa people from nowhere will be calling you anyhow, one day Shakau will call pesin number.
