Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose has finally confessed to partaking in the secret meeting where politicians led by former minister of state for defense, Musiliu Obanikoro met with army officer led by a Brigadier General plotted how to rig last August's gubernatorial election for Mr. Fayose.

Mr. Fayose was speaking at an event in Ekiti where he inadvertently referred to the tape and then he quickly tried to change his story by claiming that he was only chastising the army general for being compromised in the presense of his collegaues. Mr. Fayose's confession contrasts his earlier stance that the tape was manufactured with the aid of a voice software.

The minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan had earlier confessed to being at the meeting, however, President Goodluck Jonathan told reporters from the Wallstreet Journal during a recent interview that the tape was not "real" stating that the incident will not be probed.

Why won't he confess,isn't he a political wizard?

Barcanista can you see this? It is a shame that this is happening. APC may not ( and I agree they are not) the chance we cave for unfortunately PDP will maintain status quo without APC and should APC wins, PDP will also be on their neck.

Can only be good for the country in the end. We do not want a party that his leader ( the so called president) will allow to get away with so much fraud like the Ekiti incident.

The president has shown he is a massive fraud by often looking away when things happen that indicts his party members. High time he left us.

No problem, he will soon face the consequence.

This is the reason Nigeria has remained in the group of underdeveloped and not moving forward countries. The people love lawlessness, impunity and corruption. Nigerians are always happy when they are suffering and the leaders are raping and molesting them. Even with evidences some Nigerians still supported the lawlessness and twisted it around, even when the leaders don't give a damn about them. Its a shame to all Ekiti people and elders, our judiciary and morality of all Nigerians.

Surely the Head is corrupt and faulty, It has to be pulled down and destroyed before Nigeria can move forward.
