CIA and Mossad are behind Boko Haram and ISIL, says Sudan president

The President of Sudan has warned that the fight against jihadist extremism must engage militants on an ideological level, and not solely concentrate on military action against them.

Omar al-Bashir was speaking exclusively to euronews in the week that ISIL released a video purporting to show the execution of 21 Egyptian citizens – an act that spurred Egypt into launching airstrikes against ISIL targets in neighbouring Libya.

Who is Omar al-Bashir?
Born in 1944 when Sudan was under Anglo-Egpytian control.
Pursued a military career and served in the Egyptian army in the Arab-Israeli war in 1973. He was also involved in the fighting against armed groups from southern Sudan in the early days of the civil war.
Took control of Sudan, then Africa’s largest country, in a military coup in 1989, later appointing himself president.
Became the first sitting head of state to be indicted by the International Criminal Court on charges of mass killing and rape in Darfur.
He warned that simply using violence against young radicals who fight with organisations like ISIL and al-Qaeda could lead to even more extremism.

“Our policy has been largely succesful, after we arrest these young people we bring a group of young scholars to engage in dialogue with them about their thoughts, and we succeed to bring a lot of them back from their radical ideas”.

Omar al-Bashir said that America’s CIA and Israel’s Mossad are behind group Boko Haram and ISIL.

“I said CIA and the Mossad stand behind these organisations. There is no Muslim who would carry out such acts.”

The full interview will be broadcast on The Global Conversation on euronews tomorrow, Wednesday (February 17).

Unfortunately, you have approached the discuss from the pettiest angle. Go through what the guy said again and you will see where he is coming from. The former president of Yemen just before he was bombed mentioned this too, that most of these islamic extremist groups were created by some states to meet certain foreign policy goals. It is very possible that while shekau rants and raves against the US, the very AK hanging on his shoulder was supllied by an CIA agent through a rogue alhaji. There is an american base in Niger and Chad, the same with france. What are those for?

Oga, it seems to me that you are deliberately getting it wrong. Do you think a WHITE CIA or a mossad agent would dress like an American or an Israelite do and supply other people weapons to kill themselves? The connection is easy, they would most probably have a middleman who has no religion or most definitely not a Muslim or even among themselves(CIA or Mossad) who would act and dress like one and make a contact. With the intelligence at their disposal, it is easy for them to brainwash the ignorant ones.

Distractions from the root cause of things (hate) to conspiracy theory...hate. How many people will logical-war against the CIA save when boko Haram invade a terrain? Poor logic to shield an axis of evil.

God bless you. Any follower of US consular operations will understand what they could do to secure a strategic foreign policy initiative. Their authors write about it all the time. Read the works of Clancy, Ludlum and make the connection. CIA is the most sophisticated terror group in the world.

This is the man who leads a country where the people blame their country's long civil war on Zionists. Not on the centuries of discrimination, enslavement and bigoted behaviour perpetrated by the North on the African South....which led to the split.(And for those of you looking for parallels to Nigeria....forget it. Igbos and Yorubas are not being forced to speak Hausa or Arabic at home yet).

In my opinion.....Africans should stop blaming the West. We know the cause of Boko Haram....bad government, religious bigotry, poor youth development policies, and a oil sick economy that stifles employment and creativity....and leads to a loss of value for proper education and a large mass of unemployed youth. And our education system is in a mess....it just trains clerks, not problem solvers.

And in Nigeria....both the PDP govt in Abuja and the Borno State govt have done nothing to address those problems. And APC is saying they will dash the youth money....with no idea where the money is going to come from....or who will fund the programme.(Instead of giving them youth skills).

There has to be change....and it starts with developing an oil free economy like China, South Korea , Germany and Japan. Let us stop fooling ourselves. We are not a rich country. We are a poor country of tribalist bigots who fight every day for oil money that we do not have. Until Nigeria industrializes....we will forever have Boko Haram. No matter how many schools are built, or how many youths are on allawee from govt...Nigeria must industrialize. Or else we shall continue to suffer the vagaries of being a dutch diseased economy with endless youth crises.

Only a sensible man will understand what Omar El Bashir has said. Islam is truly under attack and I stand to be challenged that war and terrorism is peculiar in Islamic state as a result of the whitemen motive to eradicate islam.

No 'true' muslim will kill another man because we are all brothers if not in faith but in humanity. We are all created human before we end becoming, muslim, christian, atheist, pagan e.t.c.
