But whats really wrong with the organising committee that handles study packs? Seriously this institute is giving me a reason to have a rethink about them.
Is it until when exam in 1 week or 2 close by they will release another study pack? Or what do they expect us to prepare on. Last diet's p.m was purely Management accounting nothing was tested from strategic performance mgmt that was newly introduced. I'll be taking P.M n P.S.A nxt diet now,I what do they want me to read for p.m

Words have it that Ican rejected and delayed in releasing the study pack because they the packs didn't cover the new syllabus well enough. The Institute is currently working tooth and nail to ensure students get the best materials for May diet exam as possible.

Tooth n nail my foot Were they not supposed to prepare the study packs in advance before launching the new syllabus? Although the reason for the rejection which I heard is slightly different from yours. I heard they rejected it because its almost a complete photocopy of ACCA packs by Emilywoolf. If not because this country is a very bad one, why on earth should they give such contract to another institute to write their own materials? Do they not trust the competency of the professional accountants we have?
I blame it on the presidency if you ask me. Lool. #kidding

Reading? Make i no lie you have not started oo, I plan to start soon sha. And I kinda like die minutes reading sef, it saves time. It affected me last diet tho.

For PSA i av R.A adamz n IPSAS material. While P.M is jes the acca pack n one managemnt accounting txt book by adeniyi adeniji. I don't mind any other materials from you oo, be it soft copy or scanned copy.

Hi everyone,
First, let's get one thing straight..ICAN is yet to officially announce the release of its study materials for all the levels of its biannual exams. The soft copies of application/skills level flying around were leaked by unknown persons. The printing, duplication,distribution and copying of these materials are against the copyright laws but lucky for us, we are in a country that has little or no regard for laws. That does not mean that we are to carry along with these acts with careless abandon. So be careful.

Second, practice, they say makes perfect. No matter how hard you memorize those standards or how many times you cover the packs, if you don't have questions to practice with, your effort is as useless as the letter "H" in Ghana...solve as many questions as you can..since ICAN has done nothing in that respect, equip urself with ACCA study and revision kit, you will not regret this

Third, In as much as you are learning( gaining knowledge), don't forget to learn how to pass exams too...know how to approach questions, how to know what the examiner requires of you and also learn time management..as you are reading, time yourself, imagine yourself in an exam situation..Remember you have 3 hours to move mountains.

Finally,...mmmm...lemme think..gimme a minute..*wink*
