Akala won massively in Ogbomoso even without Soun's support. He lost the election due to votes from Ibadan, Oyo and most importantly, GEJ's refusal to rig the election in his favour.

Believe me, if Obasanjo were to be in power then; Akala would win hands down.

It seems Jonathan has completed his tour of Nigerian churches. He's now started the southwestern (monarchs) tour.
