The key crucial element here is love. There is a saying that "love conquers all". I think its applicable here. If a man truly loves his spouse then he should stand with her throughout no matter the circumstance. I don't know what led to her inability to give birth but it shouldn't stand as a barrier your love and union It can be part painful for the woman and even more painful for you as the man but it shouldn't shake your relationship There are other solutions to this problem such as Artificial Insemination Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection(ICISI) and In vitro fertilization(IVS) If this can't workout, you could go for an adoption Please don't let this situation wear on your marriage. And before I forget, always remember that there is nothing impossible for God. Continue to pray and put your trust in him. He has never let me down and I know he won't let you down. If she gives you the option to marry another wife fine, if she doesn't then you can adopt as much as 3 kids or whatever you wish....Me I promised myself, God forbid I encounter such in Marriage, I wud just adopt, how wud I chase one I love cos of kids, afterall she didn't create herself, God knows best...NB: Advice; if it was a wayward or negative past that caused the childlessness, you guys shud pray for Gods mercies and forgiveness,still keep praying even if it weren't anyones fault, God knows Best, Man is jux a learner. |

Calebosko:It depends on how highly esteemed you value marriage as an institution. . . I know you're hoping for someone to say marry someone else but that will be unfair, don't you think? Why did you marry this lady? To have children or for companionship? I have never believed children to be the main reason for getting married. Children are a blessing. If it was just about having kids, you can have kids with any woman. There are many ladies today who would be glad to have your kid without wanting marriage from you. But you didn't go that way. I cannot tell you what to do. I don't know how much you love your wife, but ask yourself the real reason you got married to her in the first place and maybe you'll know what to do. 2 Likes |

Can't adopt another, rather to love her more (as a true Christian). Just hope that God's time is the best! I'll still instinct to her till my death! |

The real purpose of marriage is for love,while procreation comes later. Due to the society we found ourselves,we tend to believe that procreation is the sole purpose of marriage. No biggie,due to our society,he can cut of the relationship,or marry her,with faith,or decide to adopt a child.. Whichever one he decides,I wish him best of luck. 1 Like |
