Yay, I just tracked ses and amos 5 on 6ocm dish, thanks all for your support, but some of the channels that are 4 startimes are scrambled, any solution and some south african channels are asking for an unlock code. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Good morning folks, I really commend you guys for this. However, I'm VERY green when it comes to this. I mean I'm a novice to the core. I nothing about decoders that much save for watching my favourite stations and subscribing at the end of the month.

This thread has really opened my eyes. My question however is this;

I have an Strong 4653X decoder I have not been using for a long time now and I'm really interested in using the Free to Air. Knowing that the decoder is somewhat old. With what is written on its body, I discovered it's an Mpeg 2. What does this mean? and

what are the chances that it would get decent stations?
What type of dish would I get if perhaps it is capable of doing so?

Please I need urgent responses. Again, the model is SRT 4653X. Thanks y'all

they have add more TP to all there receivers like 11170 V 2222 10991 V 4999 11008 V 08000 and 11183 80003
so they use OTA to update keys every 7hr which means you need to enter keys every 7hrs and the keys come like this ************ which you also need to decode it
before you decode, a new code have update

if it was a pay channel that will have be easy cos you can use cccam or so
but this is free channel so no one will pay cobo to you if you make it cccam

this is what top 5 engineers have find out and they say it is useless to follow up on this because at long last you will get noting from wasting your time on this ,no one will pay you $ cos it is FTA channels

Alright guys I don try this Badr/MBC on my 60cm dish for over a week. No green at all. Even just using one lnb on the dish. Nothing 12265h27500. I do get 12303H27500 and see Cordoba Intll.

Any pointers? Using 60cm dish with Strong lnb.

Please help.

I bought a 1.05m offset dish from Alaba Intl 2 months ago.

The (useless) dealer gave me the bracket/mount for a 90cm dish however.


I really don't have the time to drive 3hrs forth and 3hrs back for the sole purpose of buying another dish.

Second bit of my question.

I also bought a Fuji Star Gold lnb the same day.

I attempted the use this lnb, and of all the lnbs I have with me, the Star Gold actually seemed to be the least best.

When I use it on DSTV or Multi TV positions, it's signal quality is usually 8-9% less than the ordingary N500 lnbs I have.

Is it fake or am I not using it right? I bought it for about N1,800 or thereabouts
