Now this is not a thread to bash girls or anything i am just trying to understand somethings. I am new to Nairaland and have spent enough times reading the Romance section which is usually about sex. Now first question i will like to ask most guys or even girls is how many sexual partners for a girl is considered too much? For the sake of argument lets say she is 23.

I am asking because reading through most posts on here no guy wants to marry a girl who has been slept with by a number of guys already. I understand that cos i am also guilty of that. But at the same time we do not virgins. Furthermore girls will like to find out some good info, after u sleep with the first guy maybe in a relationship and you breakup, sleep with second guy and it does not work out, dont u think if you should take a break and be sure of the next guy?? Instead of constantly regretting.

I know people will say guys sleep around as well but without been sexist it is different. First of all as scientist, we are programmed to have sex for evolution. A guy can have sex with 20 girls within a 9 month period and get all of them pregnant while a woman can only be pregnant once. Also it is more difficult for guys to get laid so a guy that gets laid sees it as an ego boost while even the least attractive girl can get laid easily. This means you need to do more filtering.

I am asking this not to JUDGE at all. Just need a little bit of perspective cos this currently affects my relationship as i cannot get over gfs past. I love her and i appreciate the fact that she opened up to me but i just want to ask some detailed questions which i cannot without sounding like a bad person. She is been with 7 guys before me. That i feel is alot but then some say it isnt. I am all for a girl going with guys that treat them right and dated them but she didnt date all those guys. Even if they knew each other. Infact only 2 of them were proper relationships.

So pls advice needed and also no sacarstic comments abeg

That doesn't make her bad tho.
That's why its advised that we know what we want before going into a relationship. Guess she never knew what she wanted that's why the count got to 7.

Agreed but every girl should know that guys are more likely to prefer a lower number. Why not just be more careful. I repeat i am not judging just understanding. Also after 7 guys how do the girls bond emotionally with someone. It becomes more of a choice.

I know guys do prefer a lower number. And considering the girls age 7 is somehow much. She should have stopped and think about herself and r/ship before delving into another.
The emotional question should go to girls that did it because I don't know how they do bond after it.
