lagtech started biz in march 2014 first with free laptop draw, first customer was Nostalgia**(buy iphones a lot),..others like cr*dedude also slim*oe,kent*chi, nn*mdi,xtfi*ld the book guy and others.at first lagtech promise 2 weeks deliver which turn out to be 3 weeks for many,note his first shipping since may last year have not been deliver up till now(it was suppose to be a 2 month delivering stuffs),was here where fash*ra vst*ffs and others were dropping daily Craigslist links
you chaloner started just late last year,during the period of the agents stuff lagtech introduce......so pls no time for argument.....i have been in nairaland right for the first day lagtech introduce the free laptop promo till now...na nairaland hurricane drive my first moniker

Noone deserves any pity here . Going through this thread ,one will notice that each time someone raised a redflag about lagtech,those crying now are usually the first to insult and abuse those ppl. The people here who are lamenting and who have lost valuable money and time knew all along that they were not collecting their items but kept on coming here posting pictures and gave the impression that the op was legit,if the submission of a poster here is anything to go by lagtech only shipped once before throwing in the dealership carrot which people stupidly went in for without thinking. Everyone now shouting or cursing has been a party in one way or the other to this scam. If people had raised their voices right from the start in may or june maybe things wouldn't have been this bad. Ppl here saying they have moved on and etc are just consoling themselves ,so is it easy to lose 100k savings just like that!! This scam will wreck many victims here business for months or years. Next time when people see awoof berekete ,they will use their brains and common sense. There is nothing free in this world . Unfortunately those who have been hit hardest are lagtech strongest and most vocal supporters. So all this while they were encouraging ppl to do business with lagtech they knew their own money was tied down yet kept on giving ppl the impression things were good. Yeye dey small . Thank god I listened to a shipper who told me that though he is expensive but he delivers and he warned me about doing business on this thread,any sane normal thinking person would have forseen this situation from afar. maybe I would have been among u guys now crying. 250k,100k,500k etc plenty laptops all gone with 1 year sea and air shipping!!! Even seun will laugh at the level of stupiidity displayed here by some ppl with their money. Where are the praise singers now that were always praising and praying for lagtech and cursing anyone who raises any objection? I know many lagtech alternative monikers will start coming out now to attack me and defend lagtech and yet some gullible ppl here will still fall again. The only solution now is for ppl to arrest jimmy. Anyone that says jimmy should be left alone should be viewed as a suspect too,I won't be surprised if the so called lagtech is in nigeria all along ,someone raised this point earlier and some of those crying now were the first to say he was talking nonsense! Kai naija ppl,when will they learn !!!

bro u nailed it,we keep moving forward,but to lagtech a day of reckoning shall come,it might be this year,next year or any time,but bear in mind that u shall never eat me 7laptops and 50k.

You are not totally right about this. I for one made all my purchases (books, trophies and laptops) in May and June and because of the bulkiness of the items, there was no way I could have used any other means than sea shipping. I am convinced Lagtech actually picked up my Craigslist items (books, trophies and 5 laptops plus a Sony e-reader). I paid for sea shipping in June and that was the beginning of the whole problem. On July 2, lagtech and I exchanged several mails in which he said he had handed over 5 extra large boxes and one large box to the shipper. He specifically listed the 5 laptops in the boxes to include the following:
*White HP
*Gateway netbook
*Black Compaq
*Lenovo
*HP
*E-Reader
The items were to be delivered in September. IN October when complaints began to pour in about the delayed sea shipped items, I was the first to write that LAGTECH did not ship anything because if he had, he would have mentioned the name and address including phone numbers of the shipper involved. I remember that his response was to blackmail me with a post where he listed all the travails he went through to get my stuff (as if he did it free) and even went on to say I was still owing him for pickups (but failed to say that those pick ups came weeks after the first shipment which was the object of the complaint. Some people on the thread hailed him and joined in denouncing me. Well, I had to keep quiet after that and resorted to mailing him on a regular basis with the question: WHERE ARE MY GOODS.
Last week, he listed me as one of those to expect a batch of my items. I was happy and looked forward to receiving two or three of the boxes. To my amazement, all I got was a Lenovo laptop and the Sony e-reader which I confirmed were sent by air.
I e-mailed Lagtech to ask how a laptop that was supposed shipped in July 2014 ended up being delivered by air in February 2015! I told him this was a confirmation that he never shipped my items. I wanted him to deny it if indeed he shipped the items. To date he has not replied.
My conclusion is this: Lagtech started well, did a lot of running around picking up items for many people. He began to dream big and wanted to leverage on other people's money to make it as soon as possible. Along the line he ran into troubled waters and diverted funds meant for shipping (for me its about $1500) as well as funds meant for Agency laptops and Elite group etc to sort himself out. I believe he has some people's items (mine inclusive) with him there but has no funds to ship them.
So what am I going to do? I really don't know. I do not have the time to run after him. If only he had confided in me the nature of his challenge, maybe I would have been able to help. I seriously would want to get those books that I have with him. laptops, yes, but I can get those ones anywhere, but those books, I don't think its possible. I've since ordered laptops through another shipper and I got 10 laptops in 3 weeks. So you can say, I've moved on.

Lagtech, if you are reading this and you still have any bit of conscience, you will mail me and let us find a way to get my books. If on the other hand you choose to ignore me, I will accept my fate and move on but like I said earlier, it's a pity that you started well but have ended badly. The bible says: Better is the end of a thing than its beginning.

bros,I swear I really feel ur pains. I will advise you to put a stop to all this waiting game after 72hrs. No need calling anybody to join u, because not everybody here is in a hurry to receive or collect their goods,some are prepared to wait for the op till december 2016 ,so just know urself. this stories will drag on till march. If u don't pickup ur full items between now and the 1st of 2015, Abeg start ur fund recovery process with whichever and whatever possible means necessary,don't waste time again. The op will continue bringing out stories of 500 laptops delivered. I expected the op to come and list some monikers of those that collected,that would have raised peoples morale and confidence here. Happy new year in advance.I wish you the very best in all ur endeavours.

If he ever did a legit biz here,it must have been through.someone in the US based on percentage of which i dont even believe there was a legit business here,most of the acclaimed successful deals are decoys
