cg053:Care to explain this "display of incompetence and lack of Diplomacy" ? Do you even have any bloody idea what's really happening, or youre just happy to spew garbage on this thread? The Chadians and Njgerienes just announced that they carried out a military ops deep in Nigerian soverign territory when the exact ops was undertaken in Bosso within NIGER REPUBLIC. a few days ago, President Derby claimed that Chad's leading the ops in Nigeria, when in the Chadians liberated ONLY TWO border towns (Gamboru Ngala and Dikwa) and have been warned to turn back compared to the NigeriN military thats not only spear heading this ops, but personally liberated over 16 towns. Yet you expect these clowns to insult our country and spew lies all in the name of "diplomacy"?! I say Bleep " diplomacy ", the military is on point with the statement. |

abdul4new:you ice-cream brain, where is your America idol you have so relied to kit Nigeria with the arms and ammunition to bury Boko harem in less than a month? do you follow trends or you just post for your fellow dafts to herald you with 'likes'? |

abdul4new:Point of correction: Nigeria NEVER EVER invited the Chadians; the Cameroonians did. All Nigeria has been clamouring for is for the neighboring countries to block off the borders and prevent the use of their territories as staging ground or base by Boko Haram. Last I check, the Nigerian military was leading most offensives. |

The army spokesman has not seen anything. Chadians,Camerounians and Nigeriens will do and say whatever they like. So they have some pride in them when the evil BH was terrorizing hapless civilians. |

lastpage:maybe u don't understand how the military works. Everybody has a his role and that of Maj Gen Chris Olukolade is to speak the mind of the military ie PR. In the army it is not everybody that is in the front line but everyone contribute their bit in the attainment of of the overall goal. With this attitude of Nigerians looking at everything as politics no matter who wins the election the Nigerian nation is in real trouble |

ocelot2006:You don't really understand anything, it was the coming together of the Joint forces of these countries that reduce the terrorist(BK) momentum. Thats the result of diplomacy. Nigerian Army cannot afford to have any war with other neighboring countries for now, it will be disaster. We need to DIPLOMATICALLY handle the situation for now until our National security is strong enough to handle internal and external forces. |

emmatok:Care to explain the diplomacy when these neighbors of ours make jest of Nigeria, from the outright lies of the Chadians to the previous insult of the Nigeriens who called us cowards? I say the response by DHQ to all these was apt, and these countries MUST play by our rules for any ops within Nigerian territory. BTW, last I checked, the newly rearmed Nigerian military is on the offensive and is responsible for mist if the successes recorded till. We don't need them within our territory, but Manning and reinforcing their own borders. |

ocelot2006:You need them, because we don't have secured boarders yet and the Nigerian Army is not strong enough. Most success gotten against BK are due to the multinational forces. Note that even the SA armed forces are part of multinational forces fighting within Nigerian borders. For now we have no choice. |

emmatok:Oh boy.....please who told you the SA armed forces are deployed up north? That's an outright LIE. Like the Isrealis, we have South African military contractors deployed as trainers. THAT IS IT!! No SA personnel is currently deployed in the front lines against BH. And if you got your info from Linda Ikeji ' blog (of ALL places), then you have been TOTALLY misled as those pics were drawn from Equatorial Guinea, NOT Nigeria. As for the M JTF, of course we need them, but it's basically to police THEIR OWN BORDERS and serve as a blocking force, not launch military incursion in our own territory without our consent. |
