No, you don't seem to get it. Obviously he's got a lot to hide by refusing to publicly declare his assets, which leaves us the masses no other choice than to independently investigate his assets, which leaves room for speculation sef.

Take the acres of farmland he's reported to have recently forcefully acquired, how are we supposed to know whether he bought it via looted funds when we don't even have an idea of how much he was initially and presently worth?

Rent yourself a brain bro, it only simple logic.

You dont need to investigate his assets. He has declared his assets and you can freely get that information in the assets declaration board. He couldnt have contested for the presidency without declaring his assets. That is a fundamental requirement. If you dont know this, then you should go back to school! Stop showing off your ignorance in public! grin grin grin

Is he under obligations to declare his assets by Nigerian constitution?

Were OBJ and Yaradua (two democratically elected presidents) under constitutional obligation to declare their assets when they did? Even if the constitution doesn't specifically obligate you to do so publicly, for the sake of propriety and integrity, it's a no-brainer.

He certainly has a lot to hide, seeing the way he gets defensive about it whenever it's brought up. He's corruption personified and that's why his ministers and handlers are always stealing billions.

He has declared his assets as required by law. He doesnt need to come on national TV to do that. That is showmanship and the kind of stuff APC like to do to deceive the masses while their leaders steal their states dry. grin grin grin

But they said he was incorruptible too! We dont need politicians doing showmanship. Just follow the law as is. Even Tinubu is now claiming to be fighting corruption. Speaking under the aegis of Local Contractors Association of Nigeria, (LOCAN), they contended that the development had impeded their operations and led to retrenchment in a bid to stay afloat.

The affected contractors, mainly peopled by suppliers, consultants, maintenance and small construction workers, decried the untold hardship they currently go through in the face of dwindling oil receipts occasioned by the free fall of crude at the international market which had made prostrate government’s revenue purse...

GEJ is also guilty of trashing the subsidy payment which OBJ and his friends used to milk nigeria dry. GEJ is also guilty of paying more revenue to many states. APC has been funding Boko Haram for many years. I guess we should blame it on GEJ too. Tinubu stole Lagos blind and still does. We should blame it on GEJ too.

Why do you people like to lie like this?

Alleged Missing $20 Billion: Okonjo-Iweala Insists On The Whole Truth
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy Dr.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has demanded to know the whole truth about the alleged
missing $20b which the suspended Central Bank Governor, Mallam Sanusi
Lamido Sanusi said is missing from the federation account.

A statement Tuesday from the finance ministry to the BBC, said the
minister, “ asked for urgent action with regard to an independent forensic
audit of conflicting claims of unaccounted funds made by the Nigerian
National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and suspended Governor of the
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mallam Sanusi Lamdio Sanusi.”

According to the BBC, the direct statement from Dr Okonjo Iweala, said,
“My position on this has been clear from the start. The Ministry of
Finance’s reconciliation showed a shortfall of $10.8bn in NNPC remittances
to the Federation account. [
/b]After this, the conflicting claims continued
with new figures such as $20bn being mentioned. So since 13th February I
have called for an independent forensic audit. President Goodluck Jonathan
indeed announced last night that there will be an investigation into
whether there are any funds missing from NNPC. He also indicated that the
correct process needs to be followed in this investigation and I
understand that the entity that has the proper authority to initiate such
an investigation is the Auditor General of the federation.

The bolded is a big lie, b4 Gej subsidy was less than #600million even when international price was higher but in is first year as acting president it rose to over 1trillion when the price was low in the international market.

Bokoharam, we all know Gej did not want to fight it for reason best know to only him which Obj asked him in the presence of Oyedepo and Adeboye, it takes the effort of chad, Cameroon and the fear of deafeat to opposition for Gej to starts fighting it seriously.

^^^You talking of the subsidy GEJ wanted removed in 2012, but was forced by you guys in the opposition to change his mind?

You're being economical with the truth when you say the federal gov't has sat on its hands all these years and ignored the boko menace....only to start fighting the bastards because of elections! What of the successes recorded during the time of Ihejirika? He dealt with the cowards sotaay their sponsors cried out to the ICJ accusing him of genocide in the north (and despite all their grandstanding, up till now the fools are yet to bring a case against him)! You want to tell me you're not aware of all the sabotage and spanners thrown in the works by certain shady elements in the military and gov't whose allegiance lies elsewhere!? You're not aware how difficult the US proved to be when Nigeria looked to procure military hardware and other equipment to assist the fight against terrorism!? You're not aware the cowardly bastards were using neighbouring countries as cover for their wicked acts?.....Attacking in Nigeria and fleeing back to their bases in Niger, Chad and Cameroon! Only recently has a joint multilateral force been making life difficult for the filthy toerags!

You know all this and more but pretend not to just to paint GEJ in a bad light!
