Who wrote this stuff. How can a committee strip such power from the president without going through the full house and the senate. I am not against such a move but presently it is a big lie and i don't see it happening.

This country just needs to divide. Its an unholy evil association created by britain that only causes misery to its citizens. Since 1960, no other country has had its citizens killed and slaughtered like animals than Nigeria. Ss, se wants to split. North wanted to split at one time. Its only the coward Yoruba that are dead weight in the country. Ifeajuna gave awo the country, he said no. Ojukwu gave ogundipe the country, he ran away.Ojukwu gave awo oduduwa but awo declined seeking permission from north. Ojukwu used banjo to offer it to obj, but banjo was stupid and obj has always been a bastard to the Yoruba and so on.
Such cowardly leaders, from sla thru ogundipe, to.tinuba/fashola. only guys i respect is gani and the great bashorun mko. can you imagine, they let that kanuri non nigerian treat a whole bashorun (general) of the yoruba like a common armed robber and they had all those generals (diya, adisa, olanrewaju) in power. Man this evil country is going to split one day. Sooner it happens, the better.

Dude, drink some water and gather your thoughts

All these madness instigated by APC coz GEJ has refused to sign d contract back with d oil block owners. D north owns d largest oil block in Nigeria and its still not enof. They want to hold Nigeria to Ransome and av d whole oil to demselves. After all they commented that since d north has d largest empty land, they ate entitled to handle and mal handle d oil in Nigeria. Idiotic thieves. May this country divide. Let me see where those with oil blocks will hide their heads. When d taxes they are talking about come to manifestations in their northern country then, they go understand wetin e be to be a northerner and own an oil block in d south-south. Lazy, idle fools.

Make Una remove d power from him now. Otondos!!!!!!!!!!!

This is to protect Hausas who own 80% of the oil blocks. GEJ had planned to strip them of the licences and redistribute them accordingly.

Which oil wells ? The ones at Niger Delta ? Hahahahahaha These Boko Haram sponsors thought Jonathan will lose elections so he wont stop renewal of the OML/OPL. Now that Boko Haram is defeated, they are now jostling to House Committees to stall the process.

I stated earlier, that the sponsor(s) of Boko Haram has oil well, and will rather spend a few billion to keep it than lose it.

Its playing out.

Some people are insecure because of imminent reforms that's about to hit the sharing and allocation of oil-blocks in this country. They'd rather keep to the status-quo and that's why they want the demise of this administration at all cost. Both Punch and the house committee that came up with this crap gave me more humor than since i last watched Jim Carrey's Fun with D1ck and Jane.

Reps to strip president of power over oil licences
MARCH 12, 2015 : JOHN AMEH, ABUJA

On the Petroleum Host Community Fund, the committee expanded the beneficiaries to include non-oil producing communities in the country.

In the new recommendations, communities where pipelines pass through or have depots and refineries, will now benefit from oil revenues.
“This innovation is intended to allay the raging distrust between oil-producing and non-producing communities in the country,” the report explained.

This is a highly idiotic approach to solving national issues. Apparently, federal character principle has been considered in coming up with this re.tarded idea.
How on earth do you add a community where fully enclosed/buried oil pipeline passes through on the benefit list for oil producing communities when the real reason for compensating the latter is because of the environmental degradation that renders farm lands and water bodies inadequate for farming and fishing.
