bro excelsior good evening how was today's farming sir firstly bro fingerlings picks from 1.2mm to 1.5mm in d first place in my own farming I started with imported feeds which are coppens,multi feeds and Ziegler feeds I used this feeds for d first month then I used coppens feed and also for d juveniles feed they start picking feeds from 2mm feed size mainly imported feeds to start with then u can now proceed with d locally one produced in Nigeria till table size u can also change d feeds to imported ones provided u av money at hand hmmm happy farming.

This issue of age and size as per fingerlings and juveniles is really confusing and alot of hatchers seem to confuse eachother. I also need some clarification on this. For instance some hatchers will say fishes of 6weeks dat are very big will be sorted frm d pack of fingerlings and sold as post-fingerlings while its siblings are still refered to as fingerlings bcoz dey are smaller in size. Is, this right? Shd those fishes rightly be called post-fingerlings bcoz they are bigger dan d rest of d other fingerlings but yet just 6weeks old?
Same thing happens with juveniles too. Just bcoz dey are bigger than the rest and look like d size of actual juveniles, dey call dem juveniles despite their young age of say 7weeks.
I need some clarification on this bcoz in my opinion, its not right.
#i dnt think we will call a short adult man of 30yrs a juvenile just because he is short and looks like a juvenile.

majority of the hatchers lie a whole lot about age and co, this debate has been ongoing for a long period of time. How can all fishes in six weeks suddenly becomes fingerlings, its only the gullible buyers that will believe such info. At least at the 8th week and above they are ripe enough to be called fingerlings that can pick 2mm without hassles. U cannot get a standard juvenile that will pick 3mm at the 7th week, haba!!! at the 12th week from hatchery all the fishes should be ready to be sold as juvenile..

bro robonski d juveniles I av is picking 3mm floating feed oooooo in fact they are in need of food in this stage they are in.bro Roland d seed fish I bought was juveniles ooooo in fact I so much love them Cos' of d way they are when are been fed with foreign feeds they are fresh and big hmmmmm but when I change it to d local feeds their level of fat has reduced Cos' of d low content of protein in d local feeds .I heard of durante feeds I heard is a local feeds but I hope d local content of protein is much oooooooo I heard they are producing it in Oyo state still want to know d best local feeds here in Nigeria.

am not into it ,but great, how i do i know? I know at least four people doing it, one where i buy my feeds, another d major supplier of raanan feeds in ibadan apata, love fisheries also & an elderly farmer that buys 100 kg at a time for smoking, returns btw 60- 100 % of investment in profit, how do i know? I ask lots of questions, pretend to be new in agric things so as to know more, but they should be well dried(not burnt), decent package, not necessary to be expensive, get outlets to receive for market or create one

@bro fhemmy this is d pix of d snake that was hang when struggling to enter d pond ooo due to d tight in d net d snake doesn't av his way into d pond but was trapped through d net .it has now dried
