That trait gives them an edge here in America. Nigerians have been observed to be hardworking, very self-confident, tough and very difficult to intimidate.

Now i think i prefer this version of the story cool

Fufu isn't of Ghanian origin. It's Nigerian. Take it or leave it.
Choi!! You funny oo cheesy grin cheesy grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy grin
lol do you know that fufu is a twi word btw? Fufu origin is from Ghana by the Akan ethnic group and also found in Ivory Coast (Akan ethnic group originating from Ghana).Settlers and migrants from Togo and Ivory Coast discovered it and modified it in their accord. It features in Guinean cuisine, Cameroonian cuisine, as well as Nigerian cuisine. Also the Carribeans eat fufu too. Saying fufu is from Nigeria is akin to saying Moi Moi is from Ghana. Jollof rice origin is from the wollof ethnic group.

You guys are missing it, especially Onila.

Look when Ted Cruz made his remarks about Nigerians/Nigeria did you insult Americans or the USA? No
When that woman on Yahoo did the Same thing did Nigerians even react ? No

In both cases most people were cheering them and calling others to accept the truth.

But when kenya complained about the facilities offered by the Nigeria football federation did you the online backlash? The insults , I mean really racist insults?

Same with Namibia, Ethiopia etc
like seriously?
you're comparing those with Nigeria?

I don't know what you mean by that, but that's wrong. There are quite dense Fulani populations in every country from Senegal to Sudan

Plus the fact that they are nomadic meaning when convenient you can claim another nationality and so therefore, it is hard for me to accept any fulani as being Nigerian as they think fulani first, fulani second, fulani third and so on irrespective of what passport they hold and this is evidenced by the fact that in 1985, buhari campaigned for and voted against a Nigerian of igbo origin in favour of a fulani man of Nigerese origin at the OAU conference for the post of OAU sec-gen, making him the first if not only head of state ever to vote against his own country in modern international politics.

Implying that if Nigeria were to go to war against Niger or Chad tomorrow, your loyalty to Nigeria can't be vouched for.

Do you need me to get clearer than that ?

I remember this same topic was once on another thread and the conclusion was that what Nigerians called fufu is completely different to what we Ghanaians call fufu. This was actually a funny thread https://www.nairaland.com/1280089/keri-hilson-makes-bowl-fufu/7

This should be true because I know my great grand parents in a typical village hundreds of years back ate "our own fufu" called akpu as their local food.

Nigerians when will you get it. you have nothing to offer Africans anymore. you might think you are giants in Africa, but to other Africans, you are the perfect definition of everything bad. you are the worst case scenario of any economy that wants to become the richest...
so you can go ahead feeling superior inside your country. but once you go outside, just know you no have lessons to
to offer anyone

That's perfectly correct. They even hide their nationality when on foreign land. They can only make noise in their pathetic good for nothing country. They are treated as slaves and criminals wherever they go.FUNNY pple. Those in Ghana are like angels so I was even surprised to see them insulting other countries on this forum.nigeria of all country's ; nigerians of all people. Ain't surprised because it happens everywhere. Somalis are even worst.

It's called low self-esteem/inferiority complex. We don't have a superiority complex, if we did we wouldn't be kissing major western and middle Eastern butt (especially western) all the time.

Well me thinks it has to do with nigerians been concious of their rights, they dont allow anyone play with their intelligence'i remember sometimes in 2007 i had a little misunderstanding with some policemen in spain, they took me to their station and were trying to intimidate me to sign some papers giving them permition to deporte me back to Nigeria,i told them i was not going to sign anything untill My lawyer shows up,when they saw i was not gonna cooperate with them they reported the mátter to thier superior who then called me and asked why i didnt want to sign the paper.i told him i dont understand what as written there and therefore cannot agree with what i dont understand,i asked him to interpret what they wrote in english for me and he said he doesnt speak english, then he asked me which country am i from.when i said Nigeria he just called his boys in and told them to call My lawyer for me,right there in My presence he told them that anytime they detain anybody from Nigeria that they should make sure they follow due process that nigerians are not like the rest of the africans.
