Eruditor:home record 37 points - man utd 36 points - chelsea 33 points - arsenal 30 points - man city. what are you barking for? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Eruditor: 2:40pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
coogar:You fell for it... United 15 Games 12 W 1D 2L = 37/45 (0.822) Chelsea 14 Games 11W 3D = 36/42 (0.857) Chelsea has the better home record. QED |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 2:44pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
Eruditor:until chelsea play their home game - they remain below united. a game in hand is not worth 3 points. you have to play it first & foremost. united have taken the most points on home games! QED!
|
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Eruditor: 3:01pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
coogar:I would put a 'So far' at the end of the emboldened and also place a caveat that United have picked the most points because they have played more games while Chelsea has the better home record going by the points garnered within the number of games played. QED!! |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 3:10pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
Eruditor:no need to put so far..... the table does not lie - a game in hand does not necessarily translates to 3 points. if chelsea were to draw or lose their next home game, they would stay below united after 15 games. the team that has played his 15th home game gets to the top first - we will have to see what chelsea do in their next home game. a game in hand is worth fück-all! |

coogar:What is fortress if you are in danger of not qualifying for UCL for the second season running? ![]() Na fortress we go chop Coogar?! ![]() Or when the big boys are playing in Europe home or way on tuesday and wednesday nights, will you be in the supposed fortress watching anything?! ![]() |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 4:54pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
ElFenomeno1:we have more money on the bank than the teams playing on tuesday & wednesday. apart from losing the top seed status, not playing in europe means nothing to united. we still 75,000 seats every matchday. that's the meaning of a big team! |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ElFenomeno1: 5:06pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
coogar:SMh... The Holy Grail of all football competitions and yet someone thinks not getting involved is no big deal! You are a liar, you dont fill 75k seats week in week out, a sizeable chunk of those seats are given away as freebies Well the emphasis and priority given to the qualification by almost everyone connected to the club, past and present suggest otherwise. You are delusional to think your money will continue to be the sole criteria for labelling you a big team! E go shock you Coogar ![]() |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 5:12pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
Y ElFenomeno1:maybe it's a big deal for barren clubs like arsenal who have never won it. it's nothing to united - they have been there done that. all the english representatives have been summarily eliminated there - so in total, you have 4 home games which is less than £3m in match bonus. it's around the same amount of money united made when they hosted cambridge at OT! ![]() Well the emphasis and priority given to the qualification by almost everyone connected to the club, past and present suggest otherwise.the money the fanbase the history the titles none of which arsenal can touch. it baffles me how a club that is just one point ahead of the other can brag about qualification & then think the other wouldn't make it. arsenal have the least achievement in recent times of all the top 5 clubs hoping to make it to europe. ![]() |

coogar:Concentrated nonsense from Coogar yet again! Barren clubs? you talk like our trophy cabinet is the same as Weymouth FC's! Been there done that, yet can't bloody qualify for the competition.... On the back of your garrulous statement about being there done that, you should be qualifying for UCL with relative ease, yearly... Not praying fervently and hoping other teams slip up! You play the poorest football in recent times out of the top sides in England, you are in danger of not qualifying for a second year running, you frittered away tonnes of cash in one single summer with nothing tangible to show for it... Past fu...cking glory is what you are living on...... That is all, One point ahead but trust me, that one point is MAJOR ..... It is the difference between a title and no title, it is the difference between a UCL place and Europa place.... Lets see how you will make UCL if Arsenal are 1 point ahead of you lot in May and you find yourselves outside of the cut off! You are shameless, you even have the nerves to use the match against Cambridge as a reference point, Cambridge, you needed a second game to beat... They were bloody playing in the non league a couple of years ago! Coogar, you are a disgrace to e-punditry! ![]() |

ElFenomeno1:elfenomeno1 the prophet ![]() Need I remind you we are closer to second position than we are to fifth @ the moment? Chew on that for the week, while you take another pounding in Monaco. Wenger will only make the trip just to stop by & say hi to his relatives! |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Eruditor: 6:05pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
coogar:But how else would we compare the two teams if one has played more games than the other? We can either take both back to 14 Games or calculate the amount of points garnered of the maximum available. Chelsea trumps in that, especially when we consider that they haven't lost a game yet and you have lost 2! |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 6:53pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
SailorXY:i posted rooney goal celebration during half time. where were you? https://giant.gfycat.com/ClearScarceGardensnake.gif Eruditor:that is not my business.... man utd have won the most points from home this season. chelsea's game in hand is irrelevant. they have to win it for it to count. united have won theirs & nothing can remove it. ElFenomeno1:you have the brain capacity of a goat.... united make more money playing lower league teams than arsenal make when they host the best of european teams. what does it matter if it's cambridge? fact remains we sell more preseason game tickets than arsenal's biggest game of the season. #fanbase! past fùcking glory? says the föol whose club haven't won the premier league since 2004. how do you sleep at night? you have no chance of winning the premier league ever again. united have won the title 13 times to arsenal's miserable 3 titles. then back to champions league - you just make up the number of participants, you have never won it. united have won it twice in the modern era. arsenal have only been to the final once & they were disgraced out of it by barca as far back as 2006. there's nothing you can say here that puts your barren team in the same echelon as united. when the kings are discussing in europe, arsenal should hide. you are inferior in europe, you are inferior in england. hell, you are even inferior on NL. ![]() |

Great solo goal. We've definitely lacked pace & pawa upfront this season. Falcao should challenge himself with this goal, he has to contribute when he comes on @ least as long as he's here. |

coogar:correct! Punching contest lol honestly, not many United fans saw it as a big enough chance when it was Fellaini latching unto the through ball from the left side. The good finish jolted fans from their seats like it was a sudden goal out of nothing! Fellaini, almost shown the door in August, now proving to be an integral blend in the first team - much more than just the "battering ram". He needs to improve his fitness tho, he doesn't last past the hour mark. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 9:35pm On Mar 16, 2015 |
i remember telling you fellaini & young would improve this season. he's an AM. he doesn't have the speed or the technique to run a game as the CM. moyes was too timid to play him as AM last season and his form went to shyte! |

Swansea in charge but they have squandered obvious chances. They should hit one jor. Half time. |
