Her Novels are highly rated in the world more than any African writer. Her literary prowess is superb...

Well, I'm not admiring her based on her writing skills but based on her Feminism stance(TED talk) - We all should be a feminist

Feminism talk on TED talks? Uhmmm...tot she spoke just once. (The Dangers of a Single Story). And we all should be feminists? I am a firm believer in equal rights for women. However, I still believe giving it a toga, an ideaology...the feminist movement has made people like me less wary of the whole ish. I believe too much of everything is bad. Let us leave it as it is.

And on Adichie, well, Adichie is good, I won't take that away from her. But, for someone who never stops to tell her audience how much she holds Achebe in high esteem, how she benefitted from Achebe's tutor ship...Achebe this, Achebe that...I think that name has opened a lot of doors for her and was probably a massive springboard to where she has found herself today. I have never enjoyed any of her work. I had to force myself to finish 'Half of a Yellow Sun'. And the movie? Well, not as good as we were meant to believe. Ejiofor knew that...ever wonder why '12 Years a Slave' did better than the former? I believe(my opinion though)that she is overrated. I know a lot of writers who wrote better than her and yet are still struggling to get a single book out there. But for a Professor's daughter and an Achebe student, doors would definitely open for you.
