You don't need to open a domiciliary account or buy any foreign currency from the black market to effect a wire transfer. That'll increase the cost of the transaction. Just go to your bank, preferably First Bank, if you don't have an account with them, you may consider opening one. They can do a wire transfer from your Naira account at the subsisting Naira exchange rate which is usually lower than that of the black market, straight to the school's account at a charge of about $30.

God has done it, i just got my trv just now and surprisingly i saw my name on the list of trv hopefuls as one who has gotten trv already :-) . wishing everyone waiting for his or her trv goodluck and ask those who where delayed never to relent rather tackle the reasons for their delay then refire. I studied chemical engineering and would be going for MSc (chemical engineering) but I dont currently work in an engineering firm, do you think getting a study leave is necessary? and hope it will not reduce my chance, considering the fact that my MSc course is not inline with the the company's service(s).

Also my passport would expire by 2017 but not up to the time I would be completing the program. Is it ok to use it to file in application or a renewal would be necessary?

You can't renew a nigerian passport until 6 months to expiry, so apply wt your current pp and later renew at Ottawa. To your first question, you can try to get a study leave and then link your current job activity to a need for an MSc in ChemEng.
