Applied Jan 27, against Feb 2 resumption CO requested for extension letter from my educational provider, bcoz of time frame school diferred me to July 15.
My CO repplied that my visa will b finalised 4 months prio to my resumption date which is march 18.

God is truelly residing in OZ.... We shall recieve our heavenly blessing in that fruitful country.

It's a desk job with a major telecoms coy here. Not in my nominated occupation tho...but still fine by me.

Naija credentials and work exp all through. Didn't seem t be bothered about my lack of Aus experience.

LMAO!!!who is in Bond university?the representative from that school is just too funny.I attended one euducation fair.canberra uni invited me.after discussing with uc,I was like let me check out bond university stand.some corpers were asking the bond representative questions about she was oh,this person attended our school,the owner of ferrari attended our school too.so it came to fees.she was like this course is so so amount.one of the corpers was like please convert it to naira.the representative picked up her caculator.she was like 8million for a course the way the corpers shouted EH!she was like what,that she does not know about Nigerian currency.A nigerian representative came to help her.what I like was the way she represented the school,in a fun way.even though the fees is expensive lols

Lol. Still seriously considering Bond for another Masters Programme tho. They run a trimester system just like that of The US. I would be at an Edufair session tomorrow at Ekó Hotel here in Lagos. Gonna be meeting the Representative of the Institution too. The school is located in Goldcoast, that is the city I wanna stay just cuz of the BeachSide life places like Surfers Paradise offers and the multicultural setting of queensland. See ehn...I'm outta Naija in Spirit already ooooo. I believe Bond gonna be a great experience tho but I tell you fo' Real, the school fees is damn EXPENSIVE! Maybe the fact that they got the lowest Lecturer-Student ratio (1:10) in Australia could just be one of ma core reasons of choosing bond over other Universities.

Lol @ corpers who shouted "EH". Lol. Bond, during ma research was summarily termed an "Elitist" institution by most students in Australia, now tell me why the average Naija peep won't scream "Choooooi".

Lol you might meet the girl if its the same fair I attended in abuja.she's really a fun person and she was so proud of Bond I think she's a student.she said something like Bond university is a private school and that all money goes to the school.that's one of the factors why its expensive.UC is my second choice that's why I attend their invitation.But its RMIT uni that's my first choice,they are soooo slow chai!!!I never see.

Please will international Drivers licence obtain from naija be accepted in Australia and possible exchangeable to get australia licence?

It is acceptable for international students but not exchangeable with Australia licence. Haba, shoe get size nah. You needs to write driving theory exam and do the practical test. Congrat on your visa grant

Hi everyone, I have been following this thread for a while and am happy for all the success stories from here...more of it to come.
Pls I have an issue, and I want as many suggestion and contribution as possible.
My wife holds B.Sc in Accounting but little/no work experience (not suitable for assessment), but I got an occupation from CSOL (393213-Dressmaker or tailor) which she's very good at. Checking the occupation up at anzscosearch.com, I read that the occupation is at skill level 3 and will require some certificate which I don't seems to understand. Will her B.Sc certificate give her positive assessment?
I want the gurus in the house to help me shed more light on how to go about assessment for this occupation. This occupation qualifies for visa subclass 190. Thanks

Will i get same privilage if i hv international drivers licence?
Coz the process of getting a naija drivers licence now is more difficult than geting Aussie PR

The main area I go to buy African foods is in a suburb in Brisbane called Moorooka. Its called Onan Global foods. Google it there. Some Asian supermarkets carry Indomie- the Indonesian version, but its pretty much the same as Naija own. Buying African foodstuffs is a little expensive here, but if you are desperate, it's an option....
