Well, first.....you can do better than calling me names.

Second....I doubt the court would exclude Buhari just like that....this ruling is just to find out if they can exclude him while they decide the case...which they need not do.

It is only when the case has been decided...that a decision can be made on banning and unbanning.

Anyway...it is too close to the election. They should have decided this months ago...and INEC should have sorted this months ago. Typical fire brigade Nigerian approach.

Once again, your insult was very childish and reprehensible. You are too good to resort to name calling.
I detest hypocrisy with everything in me. How can you in one post be asking that the courts let sleeping dogs lie by not disqualifying Buhari (obviously because of threats of violence from northerners) and in the next post be chiding a guy for suggesting their will be violence in the creeks if Buhari is voted in?

The cases will be dismissed, GMB will be available to contest for nigeria's presidential election....
on what ground will the cases be dismissed? Is it because they are not legitmate or what?

Humn... No matter whose fan or friend we are- we must understand that no man is above the law & the law is blind. It knows no friend nor foe.

I dont wish GMB disqualification but if he is disqualified there might be puckets of protest in Lagos, Rivers, Katsina & Kano, maybe Osun based on religious affiliation.

GEJ desperately wanting to avoid meeting Buhari at the polls.

But he has no option. He is going to be thoroughly defeated , no two ways about it.

Law from a kangaroo court with a paid judge cannot be described as law.

Might sound like a contradiction in terms....but then again....a court case is different from an election.

Your man was in essence saying....vote out GEJ...and there would be violence.

I am saying...the courts should allow Buhari to contest....while they decide the case. They need not restrain him from contesting till the case is decided as that (in a way) essentially amounts to the court presuming Buhari is guilty from the word go.

I hope you get it.?

Hmm, you could have won the argument except for one simple fact:

All the violence in this election so far has been confined to the south.

Bombs going off, people getting shot, violent insults, intimidation, armed militias, vandalism; you name it, it's happening.

Meanwhile up north we're lovingly polishing our PVCs.

THE ONLY WAY JONATHAN WILL WIN IS IF HE RIGS! For my area here the northerners are already travelling back home to vote. While the southerners are travelling for wedding, naming ceremony, to fuccck their wives/gF's, to secure their kids, etc grin grin.

When I say rigging here, I mean massive rigging!
Their is nothing like North again in Nigeria. Same goes with East. So talk about ur Geo Political zone. Let talk when ur brain is back from vacation. As I can ur head is empty at d moment.

Again....a court case works this way.

I file suit to disqualify VVK from contesting on the grounds that he was convicted of fraud twenty years ago.

The court then takes a decision as to whether VVK can be allowed to contest while the case is decided.

If the court decides that VVK can contest....the case goes ahead., evidence is presented and debated, etc.....while VVK contests the election.

The court then finds VVK cannot contest .....after VVK has won the election....because of fraud.

VVK's election becomes null and void.

Get it now?

My prayer is, if GEJ wins. People should take it likely. If GMB wins, it should be accepted. And no militants and whatsoever should cause any havoc. We need peace in this country. If there is war, it's the poor who will hear the drums. The rich will only give the order. Let's just pray there is peace.

APC is an Evil at the Gate We Must Fight, Says Ikuru

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Mr Tele Ikuru

PDP: Amaechi has only 5 commissioners, 7 lawmakers left
Ernest Chinwo in Port Harcourt

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Mr Tele Ikuru, has said he was deceived by his boss, Governor Chibuike Amaechi, to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) and called on the people of the state to fight the APC which he described as an evil at the gate.

This came as the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Felix Obuah, boasted that about 16 members of the 32-member state House of Assembly and about 21 commissioners had abandoned Amaechi.

The duo spoke on Monday in Port Harcourt at a reception to formally receive the deputy governor into the PDP following his defection from APC on Sunday.

Ikuru said the content of the address announcing his resignation from the APC was the truth and from the depth of his heart, stressing that it was the truth, with no iota of pretence.

He added that he felt relieved with his defection as he has freed his conscience.

His words: “For the first time in 18 months, I slept well yesterday (Sunday) and I woke up hale and hearty this morning (Monday). This is because I have freed my conscience.

“What is happening in Rivers State today will haunt us if we allow it to pass. It will haunt our future generation if we allow it to go unchallenged. For the sake of posterity, we must fight the evil. If it takes our blood, so be it because there is an evil at the gate.”

He thanked the people of the state for resisting what he described as the “devilish onslaught”, adding that it would have been disastrous if they had folded their arms.

He said by his defection, he and his supporters were “upholding what is right and true”, and thanked the Rivers PDP Governorship Candidate, Chief Nyesom Wike, for rescuing the PDP from the “devilish onslaught”.

“He (Wike) stood against oppression and said, 'if I perish, I perish'. He stood up and said the oppression against Rivers PDP will not stand.

Ikuru stated, “I must confess, I was deceived. I was told APC is a new order but it is all lies. It is just about the ambition of one man. God bless Nigeria; God bless Rivers State; God bless Wike.

“Let the statement be made loud and clear; for every one vote they get, we must have 200 votes. Come out with Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Vote for President Goodluck Jonathan and from Saturday, Rivers State must have peace. We are working to deliver this party and the state."

While receiving Ikuru back to the PDP, Rivers PDP Chairman, Mr Felix Obuah, boasted that about half the number of members of the state House of Assembly and two-thirds of Amaechi’s commissioners were as good as in the PDP.
