Great post my learned colleague!I tell u,being a lawyer rocks!I get astounded by the doors a simple introduction of yourself as a 'Barrister' can open..Sadly,guys just see female lawyers as cocky and unemotional,which may be true.But its not a general thing!

If you have never given a thought about dating a lawyer, this post is going to come as a reminder that you might be missing out on something wonderful. Yes I know there are a whole lot of misconceptions about lawyers, but hey, you might want to check out these reasons why you might at least give a thought about dating a lawyer. So here we go:

3) Lawyers are known to be good dressers

Wouldn't you want a partner you can make a good and intelligent conversation with? I bet you wouldn't want to be hanging around a mate who doesn't know the things happening around in their environment and can’t make intelligent conversation. Lawyers are known to have a wide source of knowledge of things happening around them in the society. Lawyers are also known to be avid readers, which exposes them to a lot of information. All these exposures, tend to make them more smart and intelligent than their mates.

Sometimes it can be sexy to be a good talker. You know you want to hang around people that you will be proud of when they open their mouth to talk. Lawyers are known to be good talkers, eloquent, and come off as intelligent when they talk. In fact, the greatest orators are known to be lawyers. So if you want to have such folks as a date, you better check out lawyers.

I'm a lawyer and proud to be one, but I never considered marrying a colleague, in fact I ran from the idea. Something about turning the house into a quotidian courtroom where the Barr. Mrs. becomes the aggressive Advocate, Judge and Executioner! A bad Ruling could involve lenghty adjournment from all bed matters.

Have you noticed the way spinster lawyers introduce themselves in court? The MISS is always muttered in a low tone, but the MRS. is pronounced rather loudly and with a peacockish pride. Some bad belle female judges even with a sadistic smile inquire loudly Miss or Mrs. should the spinster neglect to add the 'needful' appellation. I enjoy the courtroom drama shaaa. I only wish clients didn't think lawyers have this special place where we pluck money to survive

2, 3 and 4 might not actually work for some lawyers. Some lawyers might be good in any other case than Property/estate issues, if you have a criminal case or more technical case that requires a 'field lawyer' then you might need to pay for the service or he/she pays on your behalf. 3, some lawyers appearance will harass and embarrass you that you will doubt their competence of bailing you in a police post. 4. I met a lawyer, he couldnt introduce himself properly: Quote me anywhere, i ll provide evidence...

Friend, I know a lady colleague who has built a house in Surulere, bought three cars and is sending her kids to fantastic schools while practicing as a charge and bail lawyer Like my senior colleague said, charge and bail sometimes require intelligence and those guys are very friendly and familiar with the magistrate or judge or the registrars and they are so experienced in courtroom procedure. I even take lessons from them once in a while. The law like EVERY profession may not favour some, but it is not down to where they work, where they studied or what they do. What do you think Gani graduated with a First Class, Second Class or a Third Class. the answer will shock you!
