These Yoruba states can't survive without oil from SS/SE.

Read this again................for those shouting for Buhari.

Imo state produces 6% of Nigerian’s 2.9 million barrels of oil per day. That is 174,000 bpd. When oil was $130, that amounted to $22.6 million per day and $8.3B a year. Today, oil is $50 that means Imo State is generating £8.7 million per day. That is $3.2B per year. Abia State produces a lot more, Anambra a little less. The whole of south south produce almost 75% of the remaining, running into tens of billions of dollars.
Now, how much do all the Yoruba states contribute to the running of Nigeria? We in the east and south south are subsidizing both lazy Hausas and lazy party loving Yorubas. You guys should be grateful for ones to those that are paying the bill. Little Imo state is more useful for Nigeria than half of Yoruba states financially.
You can’t change the facts on the ground by following Joseph Gobble’s mantra: repeat a lie as often as possible and people will think it’s true. Those of you that hate Igbos and south south people will never see progress because nobody bites the hand that feeds him/her without inviting the anger of God upon him and the family.

How can ogbeni say Osun has the most civil servants after Lagos State. Does he think we are as dumb, what is even the total population of state of Osun. He should admit that he is using the state allocation to service d loan he collected to campaign during his re-election. Does Osun have more civil servants than Kaduna State, or Kano, they don't even have up to Oyo State. In any case all levels of government has been affected by dwindling income from oil sales including the FG, yet they pay salaries so he has no excuse to owe the workers.

The difference between Osun state and the ones that you named is that Kano is a major commercial hub and Kaduna has its share of commercial activity.

The problem with this governor is that he does not seem to understand that his job is to create an environment whereby commerce can thrive. Simply redirecting Federal revenue to himself and civil servants is poor governance.

Imo is near bankrupt

Rivers which has no excuse going broke is on the edge.

Fayemi bankrupted Ekiti

Oshiomole has put Edo in serious debt with nothing on ground to show for it.

Oyo and Ogun are also heavily indebted and living from hand to mouth.

Lagos despite the huge revenue is the State with the highest debt portfolio.

Change Change Change!

Another thing to consider, is that all APC controlled SW states refused to ascend to the minimum wage and are yet to comply to the PENCOM act. Pensioners are owed months if not years.

These are your progressives.
a set of lower mentality people that is why this country can not move forward, so you don't know that is the political strategy to destroy other party, they are pumping money to their party, leave the others party to suffer financially must we practice one party system before this country can move forward? Tinubu bribed the disgraced Justice Salami of the Appeal Court who ruled in favor of the formerly known Engineer who has since stopped claiming to be an engineer after Omisore exposed Aregberascal as a refrigerator technician.

Odenni Rauf submitted a fake Engineering degree in his first INEC form only for him to submit WAEC in his last form as his highest academic certificates.

Fraudsters, forgers and incompetent fools

this is funny.
apc is full with non certificate holders

all south west apc state are in deep shit. Imo case is even extraordinary ,the best thing is just to sell the state off when okorocha is gone ,that state is in deep shit. There is nothing that can stop a mass sacking of state govt workers in the south west once elections are over . Apc has messed up the whole place .

Who are these dumbheads ruling us
why can't he even learn from his 'oga' Tinubu who revolutionalize revenue generation nd collection and became independent in state sustenance when Obasanjo refused it federal allocation. ?
I can't blame them but d people who voted for them, instead of engaging people in intellectual discuss of ideas and manifestos, they keep dancing shoki, throwing jabs at opponents, engaging in propaganda ....

thank you. Thank god u realize what I have been saying ,the sai buhari noise is only limited to nairaland and social media ,the reality on ground is buhari isn't popular in the south west. Pdp still dominates in terms of acceptability and this is due to the mismanagement oof the states by apc governors. Other parties like labour ,accord and sdp have taken over the south west and they all support gej and pdp. I wish ppl in other regions will know this fact. Apc only uses the social media propaganda to give itself a larger than life picture .

can this man listen to his very lame excuse, when virtually all the state now seek additional revenue to run their expenses through IGR. Is osun the only state affected by the cut down on federal allocation. Sit down and fold ur ands and wait for FG to spoon-feed you all year round, instead of you to begin to think of how to diversify ur economy.

Was anybody there, wise enuff to ask him why FG slashed the allocation by 40% because he silenced it in his speech making the Fg to look like a wicked father. and i would have loved to ask also if i was there and given chance that, 'Is only Osun the victim of the circumstance?'. I know you will help him out.... impatiently waiting for your low-content response. Meanwhile, i have Cola-nut here.... frisking around my office.

You cant pay salaries, it is jonathan
You cant go to toilet, it is Jonathan
You wasted billons on your inauguration, it is jonathan.
Yet you entertained buhari in your state and squandered money on campaign souvenirs.A lazy governor like you have no excuse. This is exactly selling out Apc , that in the face of a dwindling allocation, you are finished. So without oil allocation you people would perish.SHAMEEEE. Your flimsy excuse also sells out buhari who has never articulated how he wants to tackle issues of unemployment. He says instead of giving jobs, they are killing your children yet gej condemned immigration act and Fg compensated them but buhari executed nigerians over theft of even one naira. He ordered the closure of peoples ' shops and soldiers flogged nigerians while they queued up for those essential commodities . I am tired of having mediocres at the helm of our affairs.Buhari should go get a proper and formal education, get more exposed and learn more about good leadership, listening ear, tolerance and civilisation because a civilised man cannot be shedding blood since 1983 up until this era.
Aregbesola, pay your workers and stop pretendingg because you are feeding your family fat.If it is fasting then do it and pay your workers.

What a clumsy excuse from a failed governor from a failed party.

when you withdraw your children from a private school to a public school as a result of a drastic cut in your salary/inflow,then your children will come and call u a failed father.

It's shameful dat he can make such comments meat abt IGR for d state. Dis reason I say our system of government is d major reason for d failure.

Governors r lazy to create jobs and depend fg for everything den blame fg in return for der failure. 5 months and its not up to a year he won re election. Serves osun pple right. Dey r really d lazy Yorubas unlike ogun, ondo etc.
