Just the same way you will come out tomorrow to defend Babangida when he denies his own statement because it was issued by his media aid. Consider this though: When Obasanjo saw his ward leader tearing Obasanjo's PDP membership card in Obasanjo's presence, what did Obasanjo do to stop that action? Did Babangida after he heard of the press statement issued in his name issue a rebuttal and sack the aid responsible? That Nigeria becomes a good or bad place to live in (and that commands lots of respect, goodwill and influence in the comity of nations) is the joint responsibility of its led and its leaders!
