The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari is leading President Goodluck Jonathan by a comfortable margin in Kano State, with results declared in seven local councils.

Here is the breakdown of the showing by the two candidates in seven local councils as announced by INEC returning officer, Professor Mohammed Hamisu, who was former Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University.

Albasu LG:

APC: 34,000
PDP: 3,047

Kibiya LG:

APC: 23,000

PDP :4,999.

Gabasawa LG:

APC :31,000
PDP : 8, 840

Bagwai LG:

APC :38 ,750
PDP : 8,159

Kunchi LG:

APC: 24,542
PDP: 2,921

Tsanyawa LG:
APC : 32,662
PDP : 4,819

Gaya LG:

APC: 38,085
PDP: 1,888

This is a landslide victory and the riggers are making noise about the results they rigged in Benue despite leading us by a narrow margin. Glad this result will cover up for that narrow loss and there will still be "change" remaining . cheesy

I love the figures am seeing,am not focusing on the number of states but am focusing on the figures,a 6 northern states votes is more than 12 ss/se states votes.....Even a blind and deaf man knows that buhari will massively win kano state,katsina state and kaduna state ...sai buhari!!!!!!

You are not so good in Maths. Apc is leading in 5 states in the South West so that makes it 30 states abi? 35-5=30. Apc is seen as a favorite in NE and NW which have 13.(i stand to be corrected). 30-13= 17. So Pdp is still taking the lead with 36-17= 19 states. I'm neutral #Nigeriadecides
