I have learnt a lot from this election and the entire GEJ administration from the beginning. Feel free to add yours

Lesson 1. Your goodluck can take you to the top, but you need more than good luck to stay there

Lesson learned: You can't bribe everybody, and even when you succeed in bribing some, that won't guarantee that they still won't vote against you.

Also, never entrust your political fortunes in the hands of the likes of Gani Adams cheesy

One Nigeria is an illusion.
A particular tribe are indeed betrayals.
Being too gentle is bad for leadership.
And finally APC is a demonic party that has sown into our beautiful country a seed of hatred that will take many years to heal.

Surround yourself with intelligent people, not praise singers or "yes men"

Do not allow sycophants to sway you out of the way and never overlook evil because you want the support of evil doers!

Reason why Nigeria has not been developing being negative politicking, hatred and born to rule mentality.

Betrayal and tribalism manifesting in our time.
His sins to yoruba was that they did not have stake in his government. Was he the national assembly that appoints speaker.

SW betraying their brothers since the time of civil war.

1. It is better to be feared than to be loved.

2. Never put your political career in the hands of other men.

3. Be firm and decisive at all times

Lesson 1: To make hay while the sun shine
Lesson 2: To be proactive
Lesson 3: To avoid blaming people for my inaction and failures; to always accept responsibilities for whatever happens under my watch

So you now agree that the Southwest is relevant and that every other person is as important as you are....

Thank God this Election has open your eyes of understanding...
Re: Lessons Learnt From Goodluck Administration(add Yours) by ideology(m):
As long as politics is a game of numbers, the region with the highest number of voters will always be the deciding factor. And in Nigeria the North and West.

One the other hand,
1. Administration did not explain and carry the masses along on government policies, giving room for opposition to spread propaganda, (generally people believe the first thing they hear)

2. Don't surround yourself with the wrong advicers and people with obvious questionable character.

3. Don't trust your future in people's hands, GEJ trusted his cabinet so Much That they took advantage of his simplicity and kindness.
He also trusted the ministers and Governors to win their states for him, allowing them to breed enemies for him.

More to come later …

Never ignore the Northerners..
Never ever take Nigerians for granted
Do not depend on these yeyebrities e.g Mercy Johnson and co, Nigerians are yet to get to that point of supoorting a product cos it's endorsed by a so-called celebrity.

Law 47: Do Not go Past The Mark You Aimed For, In Victory Learn When To Stop

The moment of victory is often the moment of greatest peril. In the heat of victory, arrogance and overconfidence can push you past the goal you had aimed for, and by going too far, you make more enemies than you defeat. Do not allow success to go to your head. There is no substitute for strategy and careful planning. Set a goal, and when you reach it, stop.

1. Dont count your chickens before they are hatched.
2. He who the gods want to kill, they first of all endow with madness of irreversible magnitude
3. You must marry ONLY and ONLY the wife God has ordained for you, anything on the contrary is as good as a wide wide road to kirikiri

2. Never make a bastard your campaign manager.
3. It's always good to remember old times cos u never know when you'll be back fishing in Otuoke

1. It is always good to have your own mind and quickly flush out the bad eggs around you the moment they begin to tarnish your image ( Diezien, stella, Immigration test etc)

2. Dnt drink when you have an important speech/ presentations/interviews to give in order not to misyarn (stealing is not corruption)

2. Never listen to sycophants (FFK, DO, DM, Clark etc)

3. Never create/give a woman chance to take your position for once. If it happens once, you cant take it from her again. (PEJ was the mouthpiece of his administration)

4. Learn to be man enough to control your house. If you cant be the man of your house, you can never rule. ( Jona is generally a weak man, a dog that barks but cant bite)

5. Don't ever be power drunk or desperate to achieve anything by any means because it will result in downfall ($ sharing, traditional rulers, pastors'endorsements, OPC, ND militants)

6. Opportunity comes once, once it is lost, it cant be regained (NO shoe sympathy)

Good-luck is a name, not a life you live forever.
Know when you are out of favour
Don't rely on news from your allies, some of them are bastards
