Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, has lost his
bid to represent Bauchi South Senatorial District
in the Senate, succumbing to the political
onslaught by Mallam Ali Wakili of the All
Progressive Congress, a retired Comptroller-
General of Customs.
The Collation Officer and Rector of the Federal
Polytechnic, Bauchi, Dr Shuibu Musa, while
declaring the result, announced that Wakili of
the APC scored a total of 341, 708 votes to defeat
Yuguda of the Peoples Democratic Party, who
scored 115,575 votes.
Yuguda lost to Wakili in all seven local
government areas of the state which make up
the Senatorial zone.
A breakdown of the results indicate that Wakili
scored 134, 528 votes in Bauchi Local Government
Area where the governor hails from, while
Yuguda managed to garner only 23, 945.
In Tafawa Balewa LGA, where Wakili hails from,
the governor scored 23, 519 votes as against the
40,147 scored by Wakili.

If thats true then that alone combined with another state like Zamfara/Yobe maybe can balance the Incoming 1.2 Million votes from Delta.
