eyeview: thank you. GMB was not popular they voted based on tribal and religious sentiment not based of capabilities, I hate talking tis but at this point, I ma weeping for Nigeria ...it hurts that in this ICT age with smart cities initiativex and e governance some dudes are talking 2 square meal a day. I hate this country, feel like staying on my own. bunch of unintelligence parading as rulers. I am ashamed to fly out again with my passport..... Let's be sincere, the north voted buhari because he was their own,not because he had any better programme that GEJ. The west voted Buhari simply because of the Osibanjo/Tinubu factor. Afterall, buhari has been contesting since, why didn't they recognise him as the change all this while. I ask an ardent yoruba Apc supporter if he would have been clamouring for this change if Buhari had chosen Rochas or Ngige as running mate,he never answered. Its all tribal. Last note: let's pray that Apc learns from GEJ and provide a level electoral playing field to vote them out when they fail to perform(though I doubt). FEEL FREE TO PM ME 4 Likes |

FreeGlobe:Buhari has the opportunity now to change the past and history, change injustice and bring equate to all part of Nigeria and develop it without favorisim or nepotism or bias as a leader, like we have witness in the past. Days ahead will tell us if he is a Nigeria president. GEJ, saw agric in the North and he help them develop it. Only if Buhari will develop the country accordingly without sentiment and in line with the peculiarity of each zone, becos every places in Nigeria needs development and developing the country in a same pace and carry every person/group along will send a new signal to the ss/se of Nigeria. Time will tell offcourse. |

Despite the fact that I supported GEJ, I commend the outcome, despite the rigging( from both sides), I believe this was truly the will of the people, see as many were rejoicing. The greatest legacy of this election was GEJs congratulating Gen Buhari even b4 final result came, infact it was unAfrican. I was analysing global news about this election and I noticed that the world were shocked, they were expecting us to by now killing ourselves, but lo rather there is peace. Let it be known that Nigeria has passed another milestone. We did it with ebola now this election. I salute Gen Buhari, he must hit the ground running because he has a great task ahead for him to fulfill the wishes of his millions of supporters and cynics that are at the corner waiting for him to fail. As for we Igbos we need to do a soul searching, we really need true and visionary leaders not the contractors we have today. We need to banish the past wound of the war and learn how to relate with other ethnicities, we have a lot to learn from them, though we have our unique strength they also can learn from us. Finaly I think the unique features and attributes of each ethnic group is great for this nation, it is just that we have not known how to rightly apply it. God has brought us together, we are African brothers. So let us embrace peace. Dalu 10 Likes 1 Share |

BlackGirlsCode: Buhari's idiat machine, I was trying to explain to the person I quoted, the reason boko haram was able to grow to this level was because northerners was sympathetic with them and shielded them from security men from the beginning, and I used ND as example if they decide to take up arms and fight the government while the masses shield them nothing the government can do except repeating the Odi massacre. Ve accepted d victory of our president elect as a victory for d people, I wish him d very best as he prepares to take Nigeria to a greater height. No president means evil for his or her country, buh it takes will and determination to put tinz right. Ve read so many threads on politicis section and "change", I wish ma country d best buh d quetion we must ask ourselves is how real is d change? If d incumbent president is from d north and he's not performing to expectations, will d north vote in favor of d southerner rejecting their broda? It is so funny wen as Nigeria we must form alliance between regions to be able to win election, and I hope dis won't affects our future elections wen d north will contest against d south west, and d SS and SE will support d north so as to get back at d west. It is reasonable to understand dat d southwest re educated enough to vote for change, buh d average northerner sees it dat dey re born to rule and so regardless of anytin, dey will vote for dem person at d expense of "change". I wanna believe and pray buhari leads us well, am not expecting much buh he shld be able to lay d foundation of a better Nigeria. Only future will tell, how many Nigerians really want d change, like I always say we deserve d best far more dan where we re now and I will be most grateful if d general performs better. D voice of d people is d voice of God. Sai buhari Sai jonathan Sai change Sai Nigeria 2 Likes |

They should keep fooling themselves that 80% of northerners didn't vote based on tribal and religious sentiments. As if an almajiri actually understands the concept of 'change'. I laugh in Igbo......... FreeGlobe: 8 Likes |

dokyOloye:I am not blaming a man from Niger Delta. I am blaming Mr president because its the job of the president to protect all Nigerians. How would you feel if a terror Islamic yoruba group started killing yorubas and the president of Nigeria fails to protect you and your family? Would you be happy if your daughter and her friends were kidnapped from her school and force into slavery while the president jet out to party the following day like he don't care. 2 Likes |

FreeGlobe: When Yorubas voted en masse for Jonathan in 2011, they were being patriotic but because we voted this time around for a Northerner, we are slaves to them. #YOU AND YOUR COHORT ARE CONFUSED# Quit the blame game and accept the consequences of your poor political decisions. Voluntarily, you supported a clueless and incompetent government because he was from a sister's tribe yet you have the audacity to blame other ethnic groups for the same thing you are also guilty of. #YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A HYPOCRITE!# 7 Likes 1 Share |

Why did the south south and south east vote jonathan, is it not based on tribal sentiments. how can you accuse people of the very sin you commit everyday and still committing. Jonathan himself knows he failed, but his tribe men will not let go. just like you have pushed steallerOduah to the senate, that corrupt woman with no regard for laid down guidelines on how things are done is now in the senate. Wsdm: but the post didnt say why IGbo will never rule, I gave answer to why igbo are not interested in presidency for now...when they are interested in presidency they will get it, trust igbos and their aggressive way of doing things...igbo are just seriously interested in having the biggest economy in Africa which is Nigeria and west african economy and from the look of things they are not doing badly in that aspect ..after considering that the North have the highest level of poverty and iliteracy yet they have been ruling and take yoruba that produced obasanjo and shonekan yet they have the highest brown mud houses in ibadan and ogbomosho then having the highest touts and omo nile in the whole ASfrica ..that made igbo to focus on economic path and group economics is what they practise we can just let boko haram bomb North the after we do the clean up which we will be paid, that is the African Jews.I am not losing sleep over GMB-GEJ madness all I am interested is how to ensure my proposals get approved and how I can have a business In ghana and Lagos....so that is igbo jews are not in power but they rule by proxy and igbo are good students of jews So can we go back to the threa topic bro 4 Likes |

FreeGlobe: Whatever Yoruba needs in this country we take it.... No time for crying like a baby and calling people names for the very things you are guilty of. Jonathan is a failed president, the south south and east voted him base on tribe, how dare you come around to accuse the north of returning the favour. On the same forum we warned you tribal war lords that Jonathan should act decisively with book haram, you all said its north killing north. we told you then the job of the president is to protect all Nigerians to the last almajiri in the north, you said we are fools. how can you expect those same people to vote Jonathan, that is a foolish expectation. you even said the east should be told to practice tribal politics, please don't make me laugh. as the east ever practice any type of politics apart from tribal politics. The east is no better than the north in tribal politics, tribalism runs in all of you. shallom 1 Like |
