The fear of unknown made Jonathan accepted jare. It is not that easy. But the acceptance results will go a long way for him as well as his career.
Besides I give kudos to abdusalami, he was the real brain behind all what was happening in camera. If it was pdp leadership that was with Jonathan before the winner was announced , they would have given him bad advice and likely set the country on fire. So they were caught unawares.
Anyway, good for Jonathan's career. He will soon be respected world wide and be given many important roles to play.

The fear the unknown? What unknown?
Think of this:
He would have stayed put; nullified the election giving one flimsy excuse. What would have followed will be riots, destruction all over the country.
Maybe GEJ will despatched men in uniform to maintain law and order. In doing this, a lot of Nigerians will lost their loves and means of livelihood.
So tell me; who bears the brunt, Jonathan and his family member or poor Nigerians?
Learn to reason right and thank God for the unequal humility GEJ displayed.

Indirectly if all these happened, what will the international bodies be doing.? Congratulating him? It is still fear of unknown, by brother. You can know the beginning of war but not the end. Bur he took the best and right decisions anyway. Indirectly, he is now a celebrated one no matter who influenced him to take the decision. Cheers

Nice explanation you've got here... but am bit confuse about the links between traditional rulers and Leadership.. In our rural areas, we refer to our Kings as traditional rulers but going by all the explanations I've gotten so far, rulers are not the best for the masses cos they lack the basic concept of leadership.. Are our Royal fathers Leaders or Rulers?

Am afraid that I may not give you precise answer to this....
But the royal rulers are also leaders in another part,but there pattern of ruling is base on sentiment among the members withing the comunity. They do not have idea of ruling since they are just furtunate to rule as a kind of inheritance
