I think the reason you feel no remorse is because you dnt feel like you cheated. You satisfied an urge but because your emotions won't involved maybe you think it doesn't count. That's if it was only a physical need the ex met and not an emotional need.

I think once your gf is in front of you the guilt might kick in. Or maybe she did the same and had her itch scratched and on a spiritual level you know. My £2
