Exactly bro, majority ar with d opinion d cutoff mark will follow d same geometric progression and sky rocket to a range of 90-95% just like d preceeding years.

But am aving d feeling d cutoff wont be dat high.

I will say 2014/2015 set ar made up of book worms, coupled with high degree of simplicity of d putme questions.


But if u look d other way round, even OAU acid tests saw some guyz smashing as high as 100% in Biology and Chemistry.


Anyways, preparing for d worst cutoff ever(90s) and hoping for d best shouldnt be a bad idea or over ambious.

How to know MB;BS cutoff.

In 2013 thread, when result was released, most of the MB;BS aspirants scored between the range of 60 - 69 with few scoring above 70. Let me mention them;

Damitism - but Pharmacy etc

MB;BS cutoff was pegged at 70.

In 2014 thread, most of them scored the range of 70 - 79 and cutoff was pegged at 80 even though it was brought down to 79.

Performance determines what it would be. If most people on this thread score 80 and above with few scoring 90+. Expect it to be 90.

I sight you francistony. @ OTHERS. Just be among the top scorers and all will be well.

Ya, u ar right. Admission into UI is like a treasure hidden on a plain, unlike other unis dat admission into competitive courses like Mbbs and law with low jamb score is like a searching for a pin dat droped in an ocean.

But dont be too ambious over a found treasure box

We only view tins from a perspective

Its only a merit wen u ar going for competitive courses and u scored 203 210 220 230 in utme.

Lets take a look @ tins frm anoder perspective.

Wat of cases of candidates with 290s, who happen to trail d cutoff mark by 2 or 3 marks and ended up compromising for courses which have never feature in dere master plan .

What is d faith of high utme scorers, wen those dey outclass in Jamb with over 50 marks got considered because dey trail with just 2 marks. they ar den forced to accept whatever left dat was offered.
And it saddened dat just 3 marks in putme is considered better dan 50 marks in Utme.

Ui is unlike other unis, where ur 290 will put u in a commanding position.

But wahatever d case may be, or whichever uni one decides to Choose , grace of God above any protocol or principle will make d different, even if d competition is more stiff dan d race of 300million sperm cells each of us ran b4 we were born.

Actually; in UNILAG, someone got MB;BS with 208 in Jamb and 35 in P.utme which made her aggregate 69.50 and she was admitted through Ogun statement catchment because merit cutoff was 70.00
