I thank Olodumaare today that my fellow yoruba Brothers are beginning to realise the Danger we are in with these ibos and I lay the blame on the feet of. Asiwaju Bola Hmed Tinubu for giving the ibos a Commissioner Slot oin Lagos. These ibos are primarily driven by hate and Jealousy because of their Huge Loss at the Civil War.

We should thank our Stars that Jonathan Lost the Elections else we would have been enslaved by these foreigners on our land,he planned to foist Jimi Agbaje on Us and then fill almost half of the Cabinet with ibos who will Later Contest for the Governorship Seat in 2019. There has to be massive enlightenment and reorientation of yoruba youths of the inpending doom looming from this over ambitious guests who have sworn to overrun our land and sell us into Slavery but Eledumare Forbid!

Otunba Gani Adams disappointed ALL yorubas when he received bribes from Jonathan and was threatening we yorubas cos of an IJAW man,I propose that Gani Adams should be deposed as the head of the militant wing of the OPC because he's been compromised and has failed at a critical time in Yoruba history. Is this how he will sell us out to ibos when the War Starts? Abo Oro la n So fun Omo, ti o ba de inu e adi Odindin.

The Kurunmi front, COSEG, OPC and all other militant Yoruba Organisations should be on standby or be alerted of the grave danger we are in Lagos from this marauding biafran hate filled igboids who want Lagos to fall by all means.I will personally be ready to be drafted to chase them all out.

Oodua a gbe wa ooooooo.
Stop sounding off like a rank coward.

Quit stoking the embers of acrimony: wars are won with Dutch courage.

What do myopic people like you have to say about Africans who have risen to enviable heights in say, Western societies? A Yoruba man Matthew Taiwo, is a member of parliament in Ireland, Chuks Umunna, a Nigerian-Briton is a top-ranking Labour MP in the UK. Numerous other instances abound.

America opened her arms to her Latino and Hispanic population and the result is rapid socio-politico-economic advancement.

Why are narrow-minded Yorubas like you mortally afraid/apprehensive of the Igbos? Are you cowering in the face of the competition that epitomises the Igbo spirit?

You do need to grow up...

The outcome is a simple calculation.

Shop ownership is held by Local Govt, all of whom are APC. Market Council is headed by Iya Loja who with Iya Lode reports to Oba of Lagos....all of them are sworn enemies of PDP.

Ibos claim they have a high business acumen. Ok...that claim is about to be tested on Saturday. Saturday election is about your survival in Lagos, a foreign land. The land has enormous powers and is positioned to influence power at the National level in its favors, considering you are a minority in Lagos, a minority in National Assembly and a minority at the central seat of power.

Caught between the opposing choice of keeping your shops and voting PDP, I would love to see you keep your shops and vote APC.

Your vote for APC is your eligibility card for success in Lagos. Just in case you do not realize it, Buhari will right this ship....he is sorrounded by stewards of Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello....they will take Nigeria back on course and bring back our national pride.

Investors will start pouring back into this country and lobbyists will follow in their steps. Lagos market is about to experience a boom. Therefore we have no time for motherfvkrs playing with our treasures and retarding our progress. We are not begging you to vote APC....we are simply putting the choice in front of you. Its up to you who you vote....but consequences of your decision is guaranteed as a followup.

We are ready to kick you out and give the shops to a new class of investors lying in the wings to snatch them up.

Fvk you all for daring to even threaten that you will use your numbers to put PDP in power.

Be ready to vacate Ladipo and anywhere else you prosper at our grace. [b]We will lay siege on your mothrfckng @ss and burn Alaba down.

What an utter fool you are
Someone intelligent enough to type letters on his cell phone to make a word doesn't have enough common sense to know that people are free in a democracy to vote however they wish.
In Osun state that is nearly 100% Yoruba the votes were almost an even split between Buhari and Jonathan
You want to live in a democracy but insist on your asinine cave mentality

Lagos is a yoruba and the inhabitant re yorubas..

This statement of lagos is a no man's land baffled me a lot..
Lagos belongs to yorubas and it will never be any other tribes state..

Moti so temi..shoro niyen...sad
I don't think i go for this tribal sentiments of a thing.
But if i must veer sideways a little, let's give a thought to this:
Should 9ja starts true federalism under Buhari, which of the federatin units will be controlling Lagos and it's economy?

Let's see ourselves first as 9jerians guys.
That is the change we craved for..

Interesting, Igbos are flexing their muscle in Yorubaland. How could a people be so politically naive? They must really be thinking their population could determine the outcome of guber election Lagos. No wonder they thought their weight will determine the outcome of the presidential election. Even after their gross political and strategic miscalculation over GEJ, they are still embarking on another trip to failure.

They are so naive to the extent that even, if their weight in Lagos could determine the outcome in favour of Jimi Agbaje, what would be the fall out of traveling such a path among their host population of Yoruba people in Lagos. It is only Igbos that think this way, Hausa or Yoruba will never choose a path hostile to their host community. There is a strategic error in Igbo political thinking for them to think that being antagonistic to your host population is a path to victory. Even, if such victory is assured at the polls, it is not a victory at all, because hostility of the host community will be detrimental to Igbo business interest in Lagos. It is like winning against your boss or against your landlord. Anybody that consider winning against his boss or landlord a thing of fun is naive to say the least.

The question again is , why must Igbo be embarking on a path that will put their strategic interest in jeopardy? Is hatred for Yorubas or rivalry. Sincerely, I am a Yoruba, and I have never seen Igbo as competitors because all my friends are Igbos, but when it comes to politics, I always see a different line of thought which I will say is highly not strategic and emotional. I have even heard arguments, how Igbo population is more than Yorubas in Lagos State and how Igbos owned Lagos, yet during the ensuing crisis after June 12 1993, more than 80% of Igbo population ran away for Yam festival. It so so funny. I hope Igbo political strategist will chart a new political path that will not compromise the interest of their kinsmen in political landscape called Nigeria, as they just done in 2015 presidential elections.
Did you write all this because you are scared the candidate you support might lose?

Is Agbaje an Igbo man?

You don't have to worry, come Saturday, Igbos would travel as usual for 'new yam festival' or snore away in their bedrooms while you cast and choose the right person.

Stop worrying bro except Lagosians have caught the 'change' fever.

Igbos are not the only non Yorubas in lagos but you guys just wouldn't stop creating threads about their so called 'political miscalculations'. Even the oba is allegedly issuing threats, you guys can as well cancel the election and ask Fashola to simply hand over to Ambode.

But that's because of the current laws guiding Nigeria which ensures all Nigerians can freely move about across all states.

I don't think the law condones divisiveness and stoking of hatred though and that's a trait we should all guard against

But that's because of the current laws guiding Nigeria which ensures all Nigerians can freely move about across all states.

I don't think the law condones divisiveness and stoking of hatred though. I was one of the mild mannered folks who saw no big deal in Igbo's winning HOR seats since it was only a reflection of the makeup of the areas they won from. It was only logical but with the chest beating it seems there is an ulterior motive. I never thought that I could say this and I actually think I need to take time off Nairaland before it messes up my head but what exactly is the problem of the Igbo's?

We have African's, Indians and Chinese rising to enviable political posts in Europe and America but I certainly don't see their ethnic groups going around taunting their hosts even though most of them are citizens. Indians and Pakistanis are almost half the population of some UK boroughs and run most small businesses there but we never read of their youths going around to taunt the white British in such neighbourhood that the area and was now "no man's land".

All these talk of Lagos being no man's land is just plain inciteful and one would wonder what the Igbo's hope to achieve with it. Pogroms like happened in the north years back?

I don't want to believe the Oba made those utterances but if he did then it means like most other Lagosian's and Yorubas he's also got fed up with the garrulous nature of the Igbo's. You hate Yoruba's and yet still populate their cities. Does it not make sense for you to completely stay away from them?

In any case, I think it's time Igbo's were given their Biafra and those that wish to come to their businesses in Lagos, Kano and other parts of Nigeria obtain visas to do so. At least we'd be free of their pervasive hatred
Lagos is no man land till the biafran state emerges

Some people need serious history lesson ooo...Maybe u Igbo people don't know that Benin (Ile Ibinu) kingdom is also part of Yoruba nation. So when some ignorant people claim Lagos is no man's land it makes me wanna throw up.....U guys need to try n keep ur father's house in order first or when Igbo people claim to have almost the entire properties in Lagos but doesn't build an hut for their mama back home in Enugu for fear of witches isn't that madness?? I took my time to read all ur comments but u guys fail to realize something for Igbo to ever produce a President u need that NATION u are abusing n forming JET LI for right now cos the Hausa people will never accommodate u when it comes to Power cos they see u as hypocrite. Ur best chance is with US...so my advice for u is to STOP ur hatred...IT WON'T HELP U....Ojukwu lost to the Hausa people after loosing over 1million souls of his tribe yet he was seen as a hero. But if the Aare Onakakanfo looses just few men at war talkless of loosing the war He's a dead man.

Ibos wins elections only on the Internet. In reality they are bunch of loser, they just lost.
