I just wonder how they expect the same people they un apologetically owe to stand on the queue and vote for them. Its foolishness really.

This doesn't work at all times if the owing governor knows how to really play politics. Aregbesola of Osun is an example. This guy has this damn strong support base that totally excludes the state civil servants, such that if he owes the state workers a year salary and he contest, he has a very high chance of wining.
Few months to the guber election in Osun last yr, he owed workers some months salary and rushed to pay them some weeks to the election, he had over a hundred thousand votes to beat his closest rival.
Aregbesola is oweing close to 5 months salary as at now, yet he was able to deliver the state for all APC candidates except for one or two house of rep seats which is around Ife axis(PDP strong hold). GMB that he campaigned for in all towns and villages in Osun got around 380K votes, around 20k lesser than what Aregbe himself got when he won last yr's election. This is to tell you how strategic the guy is. Unlike Mimiko of Ondo, Susuan of Benue and Kogi state governor that couldn't win their states for their party(PDP) because they are not in good term with the state civil servants.
NB: Osun is the number 2 state with highest numbers of civil servants and pensioners after Lagos in the federation.

My point is that the civil servants are no threat to the reelection of any smart governor in Nigeria.

Though I don't support owing workers.

Very bad of the guy. He cares more about beautification and real development which I've seen in the city than the state worker's welfare. He should balance development and workers' welfare.
Plus, he never sound apologetic anytime I hear him speak.

I doubt that. The incumbent has a very high chance of winning, he'll have the highest votes and he's like the only guy that can get 25% votes from any of the LGs in the state. Others might win in their strong bases but perform very woefully outside their hoods.

God in is infinite mercy will remove ajimobi as oyo state governor dis Saturday, Dt man did not do anything worthwhile in oyo state it all propaganda, in d education sector he his zero just come check our schools, d stupid roads people say he his making he has done some true, but most of those roads were done by ladoja and akala, d road from mokola to fiditi/oyo was done by ladoja, ajimobi only lined it and his supporters are claiming it part of his project.
- D big buses were bought by him oo dt ajumose bus but d smaller Toyota hiace 100 to be precise were given to oyo state by d FG i saw those buses myself before dey were repainted into ajimobi's color
- he didn't allow local government election in d 4yrs dt he was there, thereby centralizing d govt not allowing d distribution of wealth to d grassroots, cos d stooge he uses every six months will take whatever allocation given to dem without saying a word hereby hindering development. i can't keep on writing but i really pray we oyo state citizens won't make d mistake of voting ajimobi again. To be frank,Ajimobi have done nothing about education in oyo state.I am a corps member in Ibadan.My PPA is a secondary school where I teach mathematics.I remember there was a day rain forced me and the students out of the classroom while teaching.There were no roofs in the classrooms.The students contribute to buy chalk.No markers'board.It is blackboard everywhere except school like GCI,Queens college which are unity schools.Also,dillapidated classrooms everywhere.Teachers in the state just got alert for January salary(last week).Ajimobi government is owing the state teachers 13th month salary for last year,leave allowance,february and march salaries.Corps members are also owed the monthly stipends of #4000.For example,I have not been paid by Ajimobi government since I re-deployed from Anambra state on January 20th,2015.He is owing me 3 months salary.Most of the secondary schools in oyo state are nothing to write home about.That is why he will never be re-elected hadn't been that gubernatorial election were conducted(first) last week.But,as things are now,he will ride on Buhari victory to clinch re-election victory.Ladoja would have beaten him hands down..

If you have all these against Ajimobi, come to Osun state. You'd hear 'whheeen'!

Hasn't paid salaries, my mum had to lend money to one of her friends who asked for the very first time, employed new teachers and hasn't paid and has not kept many of his promises and has turned government into family business (if I may use such words), will be surprised if he comes out victorious. To God, all things are possible.

and as regards ajimobi, y should any reasonable person vote for a man who refused to pay civil servants, and threaten to sack anyone who raises alarm, that's d height of wickedness and lack if human sympathy, his dispensation, the youths were not employed, petty traders were denied of their means of livelihood, all in the name of trying to copy Lagos state gov. I expected him to b wise enough to know that there is always different strokes for different folks.
on the other hand during Alaska's dispensation, thuggery was d oder of the day, and armed rubbers were very rampant. I dont know teslim n seyi, but I do know ladoja, he gave employment to youths, and payed workers well and also tried hard to bring quality education to upcoming stars, also he brought development to the state as his leadership attracted foreign investors.
these are to mention but a few, for me, I'll say LADOJA IS D MAN, and I admonish us all to embrace him for a better oyo state.
