If Igbos come out and vote Jimi solely based on what this Oba said then I know they don't love Lagos. They're just in Lagos to suck it's resources and leave when it's dry.

This Oba is not part of the Ambode team, so why should your decision be based on that. It's like someone voting Buhari solely based on Asari's utterances. You want to use one incident to determine the future of a state like Lagos. A statement that most Yorubas have tried to bend over backwards to condemn, going against our tradition. Yet some of you guys still come here to spew crap about voting a man without the qualification needed to run Lagos because of one man's careless statements you want to choose someone that can't run one pharmacy successfully.

Ambode and Jk are so mismatched it's not even funny. Ambode became a chartered accountant at the age of 24, has 27 years of experience in both public and private sectors, has attended the best schools in the world, had received leadership trainings all over the world yet you want to pick a man with no qualification because of what a non-democratic leader said.

Not saying people shouldn't vote Jk if they want but basing that vote on what the Oba said is really daft

2004. Chief Obafemi Awolowo who was a lawyer and Senior
Advocate of Nigeria [SAN] died peacefull in his house in 1987.

I'm in my 40s and was alive then. IBB even eulogised him very well
so there was no coup plot by Awolowo against IBB which is one of those
misleading information being spread online by people who I observed are
of Ibo origin.

All I'm saying is, this is one man's opinion. I'm Yoruba and I'm saying what he said is wrong. He's not the first to insult a tribe and he won't be the last. We all just need to be sensible and be the best we can be individually.

Most Yorubas I know have condemned him, if we're being honest the same cannot be said for Patience that also insulted a whole tribe. I really didn't notice the SS/SE people come out in unison to condemn that statement, as a matter of fact people were defending it. Asari has issued too many threats against the Yorubas and Hausas especially the Hausas and I've never noticed a condemnation in unison.

To now give away the future of Lagos to people that have failed Nigeria for so many years because of one man's speech is what I don't agree with. Now if you think PDP has done well and you think Agbaje deserves a chance, well then vote him for that reason not because of some man's words.

The fact is, Yorubas have generally been the most accommodating people in this country. Imagine if a traditional ruler had said this in north even thought it was wrong and non-indegenes start insulting him, you too know what will be going down right now.
