23 is rather too young, that was one of the errors of our early days, a young mind is prone to quick judgement , irrationality and hyper energised metal state.

A country grows on the energy of it's youth , but the energy needs to be directed by someone with more life experience

Show me a man who seeks advice from his friends before his father and elders and I'll show you a fool.

As the Yoruba would say "ko si bi omode le ni owo to , ko le ni akisa bi agba" meaning with age comes knowledge and intelligence.

Kudos to Mr Mbu these were young men who when called to the task , did not fail or faulter. God bless Nigeria

You do know the average life expectancy back then was 40+. So at 23, you are equivalent to almost 40 now. Life was harder and people had to grow up faster. They were wiser and smarter too because their quality and difficulty of education was much more than now. You can't compare a 23 yr old then and now.

That was when things were easy for our youths, they even got free education up to tertiary level and most were sponsor abroad. Most of our fathers benefits from this during the old days. Nowadays some youth of his age are still struggling with JAMB. Forget about youths ruling this country, only youths of wealthy background or those with so called "connection" will even smell government positions. We are leaders of tomorrow.... When we get to 40 and above years then we would be leaders of the "tomorrow" we have talking about.
