I feel Oba Akinolu should come out and apologize for that statement cuz take it or leave it, that statement has already set APC back a little and Fashola's stylish avoidance in directly addressing that issue sends an agreeing opinion to the statement

U judged president GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN because of the comment made by some of his party faithfuls, there is no difference to what the oba has said, If the bottom is rotten, you trace it to the head, The Oba being a core supporter of APC has spoken the mind of the party. If i we make our judgement because of the unguided statement of one man, it is woth it. We shall all vote out APC in lagos.
How many WE??You think all Igbos will reason like u , You will be put to shame come Sunday when Ambode will be declare the next Governor of my Darling State.

As for me and my family we are voting for Ambode not Akinolu, irrespective of his ranting, it won't change my mind, I belief Apc have done very well in Lagos, lagos is our home, Abia is my state of origin. Ambode is my choice

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, gave more than N15 million to my cousin Nollywood star Emeka Enyiocha and his co-producer Chidi Nwokeabia to make "Champions Of Our Time", the Best Family Movie In 20 Years Of Nollywood Is Champions Of Our Time - TV/Movies - Nairaland.
https://www.nairaland.com/1134186/best-family-movie-20-years

Champions of Our Time was sponsored by the Lagos State government and is the only Nollywood family movie that has won more local and international awards since 2010 to date. And it beat the highly award winning The Figurine of Kunle Afolayan to the much coveted ECOWAS Special Prize Prize For Integration For The Best West African Film [The first for a Nigerian film] and the Prix spécial du jury pour une œuvre de fiction TV/Vidéo (Special Jury Prize for TV/Video fiction) with a value of one million CFA francs at the highly competitive Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou ( FESPACO) in 2011.

Champions of Our Time with screenplay by the award winning screenwriter Chidi Nwokeabia and directed by award winning filmmaker Mak Kusare and Charles Inojie.

1. The Best Actress Award and Best Supporting Actress Award at Terracotta Film and Television Awards, 2010.

2. Champions of Our Time won the Best Film award at the 2010 Zafaa International Film Festival.

3. Best Film and the Best Actress Award at 2010 Abuja International Film Festival.

4. Golden Mboni Award at 2010 Lola Kenya Screen Festival.

5. Kenya, two awards at the 2010 Terracotta Awards.

6. Official Selection of the African Movies Academy Awards (AMAA 2010).

7. Official Selection of the 2010 Zanzibar International Film Festival.

8. Finalist at the 2011 16th International Family Film Festival in Hollywood, USA.

9. Official Selection of Deep Fried International Film Festival, U.K.

10. Official Selection of Lucasfilm International Film Festival in Germany.

11. The Child Friendly Film Prize, Home Video Integrity Awards (HOMEVIDA) 2011.

Champions of Our Time tells the extraordinary story of two exceptionally brilliant young girls from opposing ends of the social spectrum. They both nurse ambitions of becoming the next winner of the prestigious St. Flairs Foundation Quiz Competition. However, their quest unravels a web of intrigue, high-stakes politicking, corruption in high places, and a culture of neglect and discrimination against the physically challenged amongst us. Suspense-wrapped scenes in the movie showed how far the players went to achieve their dreams in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
Mr. Jimi "STINGY" Agbaje cannot even show us what he has done for Igbos and other non-Yorubas in Since in his more than 57 years in Lagos state.

Remember, that choices have consequences and your vote will decide the choice that shapes your lives.
~ Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN.

All those living and working in Lagos are united in our support for APC.

i judged Jonathan base on his policy impact on my personal life,my family and my unborn generation not because his unfair to my tribe. you didnt get my point. so because Oba insult your tribe you start keeping malice with your yoruba landlord or you divorce your yoruba wife, you fight your yoruba boss. you reject contract and refuse to do business with yoruba man?

my point is the statement as been condemned but you people are over flogging it.

i wont be surprise seeing ohaneza and other Ndigbo group visiting the Oba's palace after election. and guess what? they will all prostrate flat with their red cap grin. (una do thesame for Buhari after election ), stay in your Alaba shop and continue shouting with your Techo phone

Am a Lagosian, I love my state more than any foreigner
could. I want the progress of Lagos. I am not Voting to
Prove a Point like most foreigners are saying now, I am
voting for what is right. Lagos is working, am proud of
my state, I won't let those from states like Abia, Ebonyi
destroy the good works in lagos because of Envy and
Tribalism. We all know what theodre Orji of the PDP
turn Abia into. Never will such happen in Lagos. I will
vote APC, to align Lagos with the Centre and to reap d
benefit of working with the FG.

Before the last presidential election, many of my friends gave me reasons base on sentiment why i should support PDP, i told them there is no going back on this APC trail. I will always tell my unborn children this story, that i stood for change when it matter most, that with our vote we revolt against the corrupt PDP and that my generation laid the foundation of the good Nigeria they are enjoying now. If you believe in greater Nigeria 'Say yes to APC'.

The impunity of LASTMA and VIO in Lagos and outrageous fine charge by them makes me dread APC. Na so they increased LASU fees to an outrageous level and were forced to make a retreat after many protests by students and their lecturers. Everything about their taxes and fines are outrageous and they don't consider an average man barely managing to heck out a living for himself. They are elitist in nature

We have 36 states in Nigeria plus the FCT......if you are not satisfied with the way the govt of Lagos is running the state....you can move out to any of those other states. It's not by force to live in Lagos.

Ten questions to Gov. Babatunde Raaji Fashola (SAN) - Urgent response required.

1. Will Tinubu still continue to control the elected governor ? (You will recollect you performed wonders in your 1st term only to hibernate in your 2nd term)

2. Will APC domesticate the Freedom of Information Bill?

3. Will APC not revert the LASU school fees again ?

4. When will the Light rail project be completed after many failed promises ?

5. Will there be transparency on Alpha Beta tax consulting activities ?

6. Will you be able to now build a home that is affordable to an average Lagosian and not to the few elites in the society ?

7. What is APC & Ambode plans on all hinterland roads your administration could not attend to in the past eight years?

8. Will you increase or reduce the tax burden of Lagosians ?

9. Will APC now compel all LG and LCDA chairpersons to be accountable to the electorate?

10. Will APC now compel elected representatives both federal and state to now be accountable to the electorate?

Your sincere response and feedback to the above would go a long way.

Thank you.
