The irony is that this was written by yoruba people living in another country, they are the full meaning of immigrants,i expect people who live in glass houses, not to throw stones. If you like lagos too much, why travel out. |

d igbo seem to be their own worst enemy. When i see Igbo fools rushing out nationwide frm areas of their abode during elections & other activities dat hav potentials of trouble, i used to think maybe they learnt something frm history. But wit d way they've behaved by antagonising other tribes throughout d nation & most sadly including d most hospitable state in nigeria, it seems i was wrong - fools never learn. dis people ar so hateful dat they ar willing to allow themselves to be used as political pawns just to get back at Tinubu whom they hold as responsible 4 truncating an Azikiwe's inept presidency. Time will tell. 2 Likes |

EroticAngelina:Shut up cry baby! As much as I don't support the statement of the OBA,either misconstrued or not, were u dead when Ifeanyi Ubah,TAN coordinator said publicly in Lagos, that Lagos is a no man's land? Were u dead when he said nobody can claim ownership of Lagos, that there are no indigenes of Lagos? I think those words are compliments abi? They are not inciting and provocative abi? Did igbos not contribute to the development of kano? Why not go there and spew ur rubbish? You guys had better not start another civil war with your perfidious over ambitions. I believe in one Nigeria, but pls let's respect ourselves! 4 Likes |

EggovinMma: I agree with you 100%.but when are going to stop all these bigotry? JK had my vote until he started all his ethnic based campaign. In his previous campaign, he discussed real life issues even though not realistic. He should have stuck to that rather than continue the ethno religious card played by the clueless one. Now he is Just Kidding, he ain't getting me vote. |

lisimmo:they think riding okada , gala, okirika, pirated DVDs, junk TVs , fake detergents and many more helps Lagos economy. They are a looser. If APC wins they are in trouble as people will hate and show them more hostile in years ahead, if PDP wins that's war as the hatred will be so unbearable for the Igbo. Their way of life and societal integration is a fault . Yoruba will go to Kano , make a good living and forever be great full to the Hausa, ibo will come to Lagos make a good living after few years and then rewrite the history how Lagos is no mans land , idiots. 3 Likes 1 Share |

EroticAngelina:This is probably the most sensible post by an igbo NLander. Sorry dear if you found that offensive but such write up was triggered by your insensible brothers. They have no respect for the yoruba kingdom and so they've lost our respect. I want to believe you see all the posts from your brothers since the incidence of the Oba's speech and I'm sure you're not proud of them. Nevertheless, we all have igbo friends and we are learned enough to separate the shafts from the wheat. I hope you understand me. 1 Like |

I so much love this sides As has happened often in the past, the Igbo resident refugees in Lagos, in their characteristic disrespect of their hosts in all parts of Nigeria, have chosen to turn the election situation in Lagos into a contest between themselves and the Yoruba nation. We need to warn them very seriously that they are unfortunately making their position in the Yoruba kingdom of Lagos very precarious. With the exception of the Igbo, all the rest are civil and respectful in their relationships with other nationals and with their Yoruba hosts. [b[Refusing to be grateful for what they and their people are benefiting from Yorubaland[/b], these ones choose to constitute themselves into constant pain and trouble. The Yoruba people of Lagos, and other Lagos residents from other parts of Nigeria, are becoming tired of having these prickly characters around us. When some thieves or fools see a beautiful and attractive thing belonging to someone else, all they can think of is to grab or steal it. The beautiful and attractive kingdom of Lagos is ours; it belongs to us the Yoruba nation. No people on earth can steal or grab it. You who claim to be Igbo leaders in Lagos set the world laughing when you parade yourselves as “Ezes” in Lagos. Lagos has its legitimate king and chiefs. Towns, cities, kingdoms and stable institutions take time to build – yes, a lot of time, stretching to centuries. Ask your Yoruba hosts. We remind those Igbo who love to cause noise and tension in Lagos that you chose to come on your own, and that the Oba and people of Lagos did not invite you to come. The roads by which you came are still open. You are free to return home. We Yoruba are not causing disruption in your homeland; you have no right to continue to cause disruption in our homeland. I love those bold parts. What say you my Yoruba peeps. 3 Likes |

caxim04: Really, I don't think the igbos instigated this period. Jimi is really playing a very bad card by disrespecting the oba's throne as welwell. The igbos as far as i am concerned on this issue are caught between a king who used the bigotry card and his son who don't mind spitting right at his father's face to get what he wants. The igbos are just playing the usual sentimental cards, playing politics of sentiments. |

Is Ambode Igbo? Is PDP an Igbo political party? Why should people talk from the anus rather than being objective? We say Nigeria is an indivisible entity and see how some myopic and ignorant people are calling their fellow Nigerians refugees and immigrants. This shows the highest level of irresponsibility. The constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria empowers one to reside and do legitimate business in any part of the country without fear, molestation or intimidation. There is equality before the law. While people should be advised to guard their utterance to sustain the relative peace now in Nigeria, the Oba's comment should be played down and seen as his personal opinion |

ZUBY77: God bless you sir, you are very wise. I watched the video on youtube last nite, and you will be shocked at the serious demeanour of akiolu when he was making those statements, and the igbo leaders there were just downpplaying the whole thing. I can assure u that if u trace akiolu's lineage, he is not even an indigene in lagos. Its very sad dat some people decide to term other ppeople as immigrants in their own country, in a state that was build and developed by the fed. Govt and easterners. I have no apology that nigeria is a failed contraption. In a sane environment, akiolu should be arrested and made to answer for conspiracy to execute genocide, but unfortunately jonathan is a weak man, and that is one of the reasons he needs to go. I have said and I will keep saying it again, Lagos is a no man's land, its just unfortunately geographically situated in the west. 1 Like |
