OP truth be told tis the message of hell fire that has had more impact yet tis also the reason why many Christians today r still walking blind so to speak.

The message of Grace tells you that God loves you and that his son has borne all of your sins both present, past and future. The book of Hebrews 10:13-17 tells u that God will write his laws and his love in your mind. The only job we have to do is believe. Trust him totally. Live in the knowledge that once you have given your life to Christ in genuine repentance that you are the Righteousness Of God in Christ Jesus. The message of Grace simply tells you to love God and trust in him. Your efforts count for nothing.

The message of hell fire/law which many of us are stuck with today is all about ur effort and not God's. We are wired to obey harder instructions than simpler ones. I guess that's why Jesus said tis easier for a camel to pass thru the eye of the needle than for a rich man or man (can't remember the exact quote) to see the kingdom of God. All God asks of us is to Love and trust him both in the good and not so good times rather trying to do it by yourself.

I personally have been liberated by the message of Grace and I keep feeding on it to help me get rid of the law that has bound me for too long. Hell fire is real yes, but God's love for you is real too. Read Isaiah 53, and 54 & Hebrews 10. Also the book of Romans.

A very good and pertinent question

Well, message of grace has greater impact than hell. For me, message of hell doesn't really freak me at least for now. Message of grace tells me about God's plans and promises and that is enough for me.

Message of hell brings fear and 'fear cause torment'
Is the world really about to come to and end? 'for nations shall rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms the kind which has never happened before' In other word, the tribulations that will precede the coming of Jesus Christ will be greater than 2nd world or any other world's disasters and I don't know think those kind of tribulations are already happening so msg of hell or end of the world doesn't really freak me.

Message of grace does it all for me.

Grace of God of course. But the person preaching to me is not helping me if he didn't tell me about hell and paradise and if he didn't let me know that if I'm living in sin that I would end up in hell fire even if I'm a worker in the Church or give plenty of money to Church.

The word of God says that, can we continue in sin and say that the grace should abound ? Bible says: Never!

There is hell fire. Theres no probability about it. It is very real.

The message of Love is all we need.

Yea it was meant for the devil, but the all knowing God didn't think it is wise to just put the devil there from the very beginning to avoid him dragging we humans with him? And why don't he just forgive Adam, Eve and the devil instead of "dieing" for us...What difference does his death makes, the devil is still dragging more people to hell with him .

Anyone who threatens me with hell fire has lost it. I will rather like and listen to the one who preaches love, in love and with love as well as without threat.

Grace AND truth came by Jesus, not just grace, not just truth. Hell is real, grace is real. They are not in competition. There is no good news or gospel without innate realization of the two.

my problem with christians like you is, u try explain what your human mind cant comprehend, as a christian, it wud b safer for u to let ur god answer him than you trying to answer him....are u implying that ur god cant make gold without making it oass through fire? he cant make something perferct? why create a vessel thats is weak only for him to demand of him strength? why do we need to know what opposition means? wgen you see people ask these questions, just ignore dem and let ur god answer dem.

How do you really feel when one walks up to you and began preaching to you on how hot the fires of hell is and the worms too...

Unfortunately many dont know that the Bible does not teach hellfire as punishment for the wicked. The two aspects actually compliment each other.The truth is God loves us but he does not tolerate wrong and those who do not repent will be destroyed at the end of the world.The two messages should be preached side by side.
You do not need to intimidate people to accept the message of God. I recall in secondary school we were forced to watch Burning hell, naturally we were scared but eventually it did not stop those who wanted to do bad. Lesson:You cannot convert majority.So do ur part and leave people to make their choice.PRONTO

It is quite obvious that the new age church including some of the old churches in their quest for large congregation, hence intensifying their financial prowess, tend to sway away from the undiluted gospel of truth that stresses on hell and heaven just to favour the large congregation. The congratulation tends to be comfortable with the gospel of grace which necessarily does not stress on hell and heaven. Therefore, in essence the gospel of grace tends to be effective in recent times.

The message of hell fire is a false teaching and I'm not ashamed to say it's a doctrine of the devils.

Get this straight. Our God of LOVE isn't going to torture the lost with fire for the ceaseless ages to come, all for a SHORT life of sin, in a body that is PRONE to sin because of the fall of Adam and Eve. Maybe the Bible teaches about the lost burning forever? ... No it doesn't!

The most well known Bible verse in the whole world. And yet so few people actually KNOWS what it is saying! There are only TWO options for us. One is to follow Christ Jesus and GAIN eternal life. The other is to not follow Christ Jesus and PERISH. We all know what perish means right? To be COMPLETELY destroyed ... nothing left! And when you learn the truth that we don't have an immortal soul, then this really makes complete sense.
Now don't get me wrong. The lost WILL be judged and punished with "hell fire", which Revelation chapters 19 and 20 describes as the "lake of fire". But that fire will "burn them up" (Malachi 4:1) and they will die the "second DEATH" (Revelation 21:. And this agrees with what God foretold long ago, when He said ... "the soul that sinneth, it SHALL DIE."(Ezekiel 18:20)

Friends, this teaching of eternal hell fire is from satan to make God look like a mad tyrant who enjoys making people suffer, and in no way is it Bible truth!
