shachris: Dude, if there was resource control, there will be better accountability and more efficient wealth distribution. The current system whereby money that was meant for only 40 million people is shared by 170 million people is totally wicked. Kano state has 44 local governments while no state in the Niger Delta has up to 30. NDDC has nothing to do with this. NDDC's budget is too tiny to achieve anything substantial. Believe me, if it were the yoruba's that owned oil, one kobo will not be given to anybody. 1 Like |

omenka: Jonathan, the Superintendent... is the best President Nigeria ever had! At least if we consider Stealing and looting of our crude resources.... as NOT STEALING nor CORRUPTION! But l have good NEWS, I hear Allisson Madueke (Petroleum Minister) has decided to surrender her Private Jet (only under Jonathan can a serving Minister buy a Private Jet!) and has also dropped some of our stolen Dollars back in a Zenith Bank Account. See, everyone is getting "Born-Again"...... just at the sight of that gap-toothed "Islamic fundamentalist" Mallam called #Sai Buhari! What else can we ask for? SHELL PETROLEUM: Oil theft and Sabotage was what Jonathan was encouraging in the creeks. In his warped-thinking, he thinks it is okay to do so since the Oil is drilled from there. The result is a few more Criminals who became stupendously rich... while majority of the Niger-Deltans still remain miserably poor and their environment remains one of the most under-developed. But then, "Jonathan is our Son" .... So, its all okay and dandy-grandy! Lastpage! |
