Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Nathaniel Clyne in the summer according to the sources of The Mirror’s David McDonnell.
Speaking on United in Press this evening on MUTV, McDonnell said the deal is done to make Clyne the first signing by Louis van Gaal this year.
McDonnell’s comments come hours after reports from ESPN suggested a swap deal could see Javier Hernandez go to Southampton as part of a deal for Clyne.
What seems strange about McDonnell’s claims is that he decided to announce them on MUTV rather than The Mirror.

its easy to forget the abilities of a player when they are not making the team. some even call for the sale of di Maria & I'm baffled.

suddenly we can all remember what Mata & Herrera are capable of, & agree Rooney was makeshift & a misfit in midfield. when Rafael get another run out @ RB, we start singing a different tune & recall his contributions before injury.

There is a difference between power and tenacity. Robben is pacy and tenacious but not as tenacious as Alexis.Yaya ,Wanyama,Ivanovic and even your Rooney are all more powerful than Robben.

the power players in bayern are martinez, lewandowski, schweini, boatank, neuer, etc. robben & ribery have flair. all they do is dribble & dive in equal proportion. a powerful player would be ade akinbiyi or yaya toure......or phil jones.

RvP is even more pawaful than Robben. Play Robben upfront in tight space against 2-3 markers and see how he keeps falling.

If pace = power, then Hazard should be one of the most powerful players in the world. If so, then he wont be the most fouled player in the EPL. If u are looking for players that ve Pace and Power, then we should be looking at players like Ronaldo, Bale, Valencia......

If I was told Arsenal were within minutes of qualifying after losing the first leg 3-1 at home to Monaco.Think abt it...3 away goals.Then you shud knw anything is possible in football. Bayern still very much in the game.Very much
