Sometimes I understand how bad men feel when they hav wives that do not know how to use their tongues. As much as I advise women to be careful abt how they use their tongues I also advise men to avoid doing the things that make women abuse them verbally. No sane man wakes up and starts to beat his wife for no reason( but unfortunately we hav very few sane men in Nigeria) and no sane woman abuses a man that hasn't done something to deserve it. Shame to the women who put up with men that beat them.

when she left the house without his permission. Aisha narrates, "He struck me on the

Muslim (9:3506) - Muhammad's father-in-laws (Abu Bakr and Umar) amused him by
slapping his wives (Aisha and Hafsa) for annoying him. According to the Hadith, the
prophet of Islam laughed upon hearing this.
Abu Dawud (2141) - "Iyas bin ‘Abd Allah bin Abi Dhubab reported the Apostle of Allah
(may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not beat Allah’s handmaidens, but when ‘Umar
came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and said: Women have become
emboldened towards their husbands, he (the Prophet) gave permission to beat them." At
first, Muhammad forbade men from beating their wives, but he rescinded this once it was
reported that women were becoming emboldened toward their husbands. Beatings are
sometimes necessary to keep women in their place.
Abu Dawud (2142) - "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man will not be asked as
to why he beat his wife."

I think the first discipline here is for the man to discipline himself well enough to control his anger. Except of course he is a coward! A know lot of men who gets insulted / provoked by strangers, what do they do? They ignore and move on.But when provoked by their wives, it's a death sentence. Cowards indeed!

He should explain to the Magistrate what his murdered wife did or said that provoked his murdering her, maybe after hearing how the woman provoked him, he would be released!
