Guessers , that's what I call all of them - Mbaka inclusive . Was it not this same Mbaka who said that El-Rufai will not win Kaduna state governorship election because he desecrated the person of Jesus Christ . And it is the same Mbaka that said sometime in pre 2003 elections that Chimaraoke would never be reelected as Enugu state governor . More so , it was Mbaka that said Union Bank would fold some years back . The truth is that Mbaka fell apart of the current first family , thus his shit of allegiance . Buhari's electoral victory has nothing to do with Mbaka or any other guesser term " men of god " . In life , once you prepare yourself well for any task , you must succeed . Mbaka is just an opportunist or at best a businessman with religious toga . |

Ok that was a nice articLe but we must understand tHat when prophecies are given they for us to work against or in favour. God reveal prophecies to man to avert danger and if religious bodies had folded their arm by not praying to avert them the issue would av become worse than this. God Mind Can be CHANGE even though he has reveal them shows us that GOD is Soverign and unquestionable |

Please let us remember that God does as HE wills. Like someone rightly pointed out, prophesies are for us to pray for/against. Our prayers can change the mind plof God. So we cannot categorically say anyone prophesied amiss. May God bless us all. |

torkaka your style of writing is extremely admirable. A far cry from most of the juvenile and elementary trash I see often on Nairaland. Personally, I still believe that prophets, priests, MOGs or whatever they are called should stick to their divine calling : which for me remains to win souls for Christ and display acts of charity no matter the situation. Dabbling into politics, no matter how flimsy should not be encouraged at all. And why if I may ask, is this "craze for predictions" suddenly common place? What is the real motive? Politics isn't new in our land, so how come MOGs were not "predicting" since the 1980s - which was the era when politics in Nigeria slowly became a show of shame. Questions, Questions............... |

I see CHARLATANTS everywhere, masquerading as Men Of God,predicting a Jona or Buhari victory has a MATHEMATICAL probability of 50%,on my money,I would have predicted a Buhari winning, based on facts on the ground, but I guess they were working for the 7 billion they collected from Jona.. |

So many years ago, probably around 760BC, God gave a prophetic message to a servant of His called Prophet Jonah. It was a message of doom to the people of Nineveh. For some reasons, the prophet who lived and ministered during the golden age of the Northern Kingdom during the reign of king Jeroboam II, ran. Instead of heading to Nineveh, he boarded a ship at the seaport of Joppa en route Tarhish, in Spain. You know the story, the boisterous storm, the belly of the fish and others. Finally, Jonah arrives Nineveh with the national prophecy. He went round the city of about 120,000 people and began to release the prophecy like a town cryer. The people heard and began to cry to God for help- they repented! When God, who is rich in mercy saw their remorse, He changed His mind, and this meant that the prophecy of Jonah didn't come to pass, as it were. Personally, I expected God to call Jonah and give him the new prophecy to the people, but He didn't. Jonah woke up to find out that "his prophecy" is not being fulfilled, and he got mad at God, and requested that he should be killed since God won't kill the people again. God asked him why he had to be angry, and according to the message bible, we are told that Jonah walked out on God. What! Yes, he did. He went out of the city to the east and put together a makeshift shelter of leafy branches to see what will happen to the city. God was still with him despite his outburst. He made a broad-leafed tree grow miraculously and covered Jonah. The prophet was relieved from his angry sulk. Before dawn, God sent a worm that ate up the tree and also sent a hot sun and blistering wind from the east that so beat down on Jonah's head that he started to faint and again demanded to die. Then God confronted Jonah and asked him how he could change his feelings from pleasure to anger overnight about a mere tree that he did nothing to get, and don't expect Him to change what He feels about Nineveh, a city of more than 120,000 persons, from anger to pleasure.by.
