Men of tumbom tumbom, God is not an author of confusion, he didnta speak to them. This is obvious in most of their statements, many of them using conditional words like if, even etc. God is d same yesterday, today and forever. He hasn't change but prophets has change from hearing from God to hearing by analysing events happening within. |

some of them didn't hear anything from God; They were just doing permutation and guestimation! I started taking these prophecies with a pinch of salt or even disbelieving them since one prophet said babangida would win the 2007 presidential election! |

The writer of this article is deluded for calling Rev Fr Mbaka a supporter of any politician at all! We, Catholics, insists that he goes over the dos and don'ts of Catholicism, realise he shouldn't meddle in electoral campaigns especially directly. Let him and other priests trying to tread this path realize that they are not bigger than the Church and her rules and must stick to it or they can use the exit. As a faith suffering so many slanders and trials already, the last thing we need is a political-inspired division. |

Fake Prophecy from d pit of hell. Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. |

Personally, I think all these pastors should stop mixing God's ministry with politics. Religion should be separate from government and politics. |

AdeniyiA:Did the people of Nigeria change their ways? Was there any mass movement of repentance among Nigerians from their sins? Especially those that are of the house of God? Abeg.....we Christians made a mistake. Now is the time we stopped using prophecy wrongly...and repented and became connected to God again. Nigerian Christianity is full of wrong. We are not like the people of Nineveh in Jonah's time. |

In what ways are these predictions actually edifying the Body of Christ-the Church. God has not sent anybody to go and be 'predicting' or as predictors!b! God servants are to prophesy unto the edification of the body of Christ. What has God told them about the challenges facing the church in form of occultic invasion and ritualists on the altars? This is an age where 'prophets' are busy predicting world cup results, European league winners, plane crashes and the imminent deaths of rich men!!! All these are efforts to attract money bags... We need those who can tell us the mind of God as regards the deep salvation, holiness, simplicity, holy blessings, fear of God, holy living, and heaven. |

Wuuworld:To be honest, I did not hear the Rev's name from anyone (even Igbo friends) or newspaper nor know him anywhere before the video came out. It was the video that made me and many out there to know little about him. My brother, Rev. Mbaka did not prophesy based on my close study of His message via the video. I am not against him in anyway but there is a sharp dichotomy between a PREDICTION and a PROPHECY. There is nowhere in the video even while on the pulpit that he said "Thus saith the Lord......" or "The Lord told me that....." Not every word or statement from the mouths of pastors are directly from God. Some words may be their opinions, warnings, viewpoints, and predictions based on what is going on presently. Rev. Mbaka did warn the congregation that should they vote for Jonathan, things like insecurity, corruption and bad economy will escalate the more. Many did say he spoke like a political activist on that day and not like a prophet. Remember that he was merely preaching; there was nowhere he said that the Lord told me that Jonathan will lose the election but he categorically listed out, with much emphasis, the reasons (which He wanted his members to reason along) why Jonathan SHOULD NOT be voted again. (Note the words "SHOULD NOT" That was why many of his critics did say that he was merely campaigning against Jonathan but not giving prophecies from God against Jonathan as per the election. My brother, this is just an insight of my answer I gave someone who attacked the Reverend. The person said the same Rev. Mbaka prophesied that a Governor will not win an election but the Governor won and that Rev. Mbaka then prophesied Jonathan's election loss with precision. He then asked: Are Rev. Mbaka's prophecies based on guesswork? The person made these statements while I was trying to differentiate between a PROPHECY (which must come to pass and it is from God, speaking His mind) and a PREDICTION (which may/may not occur just like football match prediction and it is from man because God never predicts) |

djkirkoo2:'Before then, Father Mbaka had been an ardent Jonathan supporter. He had said good things about the President and his aspirations for 2015, but obviously, he spoke like a man that he was. When the Spirit of God chose to speak through him, even the Catholic priest had no choice. He became like clay in the hands of the potter: yielded and still. Today, we have a true prophet to the nations in Father Mbaka.' l think that answers the question. ![]() |

Wow! What a nice piece. But what about the African Major Prophet-prophet Benjamin Samson Mustapha. The G.O Resurrection Praise Ministry, satellite town. He also predicted for GEJ as well as for Jimi Agbaje that they will win. He boldly said that. But for now, I can't help myself but keep wondering? |

torkaka:I'm not much of a bible reader, but I know a part of the bible when a prophet visited a king in Israel and told the king that thus says the lord, he wouldn't recover but die in few days time, after the prophet left, the king turned his head towards the wall and prayed to God, God answered his prayers and his life was extented to years instead. God is God... He does what He wants to the glory of His name, so judge not. extra: we all know some prophets are fake, so also are some news agencies, ministries, churches e.t.c so remove the grain of sand in your eyes before thinkin of removing that of someone else. |
