David Cameron has pledged to slash aid to African countries with poor records on homosexual rights.
The Prime Minister will tell struggling nations they will receive funding ‘fines’ if persecution of gays continues.
The Government has already cut aid to Malawi by £19million after two gay men were sentenced to 14 years hard labour. The southern African nation also plans to bring in tough anti-lesbian laws.
Malawi has received £200million from Britain over the past three years.
International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell could also reduce aid to Uganda and Ghana unless they drop laws against gays.
Uganda, which is due to receive £70million in 2011, plans to punish homosexuality with the death penalty.

Dear friend nothing is "wrong" with RCCG (in the UK) just because they associate with people supportive of gay and lesbians.

First of all, God indeed loves them. Period. The bible says God loved and loves everyone ("the world" so He loves them. Simply put.

Secondly, the fact that the archbishop of canterbury is supportive of gays should not be grounds for dissociating with him. Jesus offered spiritual and mental support to "the woman by the well" right? Christianity should be less about "my church says ..." but more about "Jesus did/said ....". I believe that if the same Jesus Christ that did not snub the woman with multiplicity of boyfriends/husbands/concubines, who did not mind associating with the "evil tax collector", who was willing to heal on any day including the sabbath, met with a gay or lesbian person, he would not have snubbed or avoided him/her just because of his/her sexual orientation. He may have interacted with one but it might not have been documented (since the gospels is not a totally exhaustive chronicle of Jesus' life). Note that I am not saying that he did.

Lastly, I know some gay/lesbian persons, and as a matter of fact, some of them appear to have reasonably stable monogamous relationships. While I would not want to advertise or encourage heterosexuals to "become" homosexuals, I think it's only fair to see them as humans just like we all are.

Well our value system is different. We have swallowed too much poo from these guys, that we now believe they have superiority complexes.

As a president though, It's really ridiculous to be kneeling on every alter you visit. GEJ clearly didn't know the office he occupied It's unfortunate it took his defeat to regain his senses.
