basty:Ode is this a Yoruba administration? You will find out if you need igbos when Osinbanjo contests against a northern PDP candidate in 2023 .By then you will realize abokiss do not have any party affiliation Tinubu was the one who sacrificed the Yoruba position in the outgoing administration for his own selfishness and not GEJ.The speaker of the HOR was zoned to the sw but the crack addict gave it all away. For the last time the igbos do not care about Senate Presidency or any of these other legislative posts. We do not regret not voting for APC.Let's play opposition for the first time and acquire some experience too 51 Likes |

FreeGlobe: But you know Yorubas don't need to produce anything. They just need to keep developing Lagos into an international state, and Ogun and Ibadan wIll follow. Eventually the entire southwest will become destination area for international travelers, and business people. you are thinking to small. 31 Likes 1 Share |

If not that once you are in APC, all sins are forgiven, One would wonder why Bukola Saraki wanted for fraud by the EFCC will make a senate president in "anti-corruption" government Before you use the not convicted as you defense, remember that Obanikoro wasn't convicted in a court of law, but APC kicked against his appointment as a minister. NB: Should Alams join APC, as usual, all his sins will automatically be washed away by the baptism of APC propanda 15 Likes |

MrKnowitall:you are now shifting the goal post. Well, the only place that is being developed in south west is lags and thats because of the federal capital status it once held. Ibadan and Ogun are not more economically viable than Anambra or Abia, or liveable than Enugu and Abia, and yet the south east has not produced president 23 Likes 2 Shares |

chukwudi44: Where is the dream? I never said with the help of the government or oil. I said the Yoruba just need to keep developing their states. The good thing is that Igbo people are spending their cash and their sweat to help them, and you know Igbos are hard worker so it will happen eveventually. The Southwest region is pushing forward and making gains, development is inevitable. 11 Likes |

Yungwizzzy: Keep Quite and stop all these nonsense.. You don't know what democracy is. Even Obama retained Bush's Defence Secretary despite fierce criticism.. Go learn how democracy is practiced in leading nations. You ethnic bigot! If the APC can't come to reality that it can't be accepted everywhere in a multi ethno country like Nigeria, then they are far from understanding the concept of Democracy. Once you emerge the president. You are no longer the president of APC, you are the president of Nigeria, God damnit!!! Is this the concept of Change they preached to deceive Gullible Nigerians? I expect that if PDP acted like this, the APC won't! Since they claim to represent the future of Nigerians. We are watching, APC will know that government is more difficult when the people's awareness and alertness is over 80% now in Nigeria. Unlike when it was just 35% during OBJ's administration where they governed with reckless abandonment and total impunity.!! 23 Likes |

chukwudi44:I think is very myopic to think poverty and illiteracy is synonymous to north. Having lived in all the 6 geopolitical zones, I know, I saw poverty and illiteracy evenly spread. ofcourse north has more landmass and population is therefore expected to have more, as they do have more billionaires as well! 13 Likes 2 Shares |

I dnt seems to understand why the yorubas hate the ibos so much i am from the north, i have watch hw the yorubas were opposition for much part of our democracy and nobody has hated on them, why now are igbos been hated on, and who said an igbo man cant be president, the most important zone in this country is the north so therefore if the north ever agrees with any igbo man he will win an election regardless of what the west thinks. On a final note we dnt need all this shi t we are breeding its never about who gets the post is a matter of what effect does the post have on the ppl. this hate wont take us anywhere, if w cant be nigerians lets do ourselves a favour and go our seperate ways then we can properly hate from our different countries. it is never my wish anyway SHALOM! 29 Likes 1 Share |

chukwudi44: You are not getting the point. You should read my statements critically. I said they need to keep pushing forward and developing the region. With the help of the Igbos, an economic Renaissance is bound to happen in the southwest. Unfortunately the southeast is at an economic stand still 2 Likes |

I thought the APC also has representatives who are Igbo...so, why didn't they get the Speakership if they don't have Senators? Akume deserves it more than Saraki. To those saying Benue state got it before, merit shouldn't be sacrificed on the altar of anything. Especially something as trivial as the former also belonging to the same state. Wresting Benue away from the PDP was no mean feat. And Akume and Gemade were at the heart of it. Inshort, Gemade's moving over, when he lost his return ticket to Suswam, was Akume's doing. And at the point, I knew it would be almost impossible for us to retain Benue state. Am not bitter though. Truth be told, Suswam was a mess. And the man who was to take over from him...well, he seemed more of a tout than a governor. Akume has been fighting the PDP for a very long time and finally delivered his state. He deserves it more than any other person. Except we overlook merit and tribal sentiment comes into play, then Saraki it would be. 7 Likes |
