This is a business mogul actually the richest black man on earth who sees business opportunities where average business men don't. He has investments in south west and north and north central even across Africa. But none in igbo land.

Does it literally mean south east is unfavourable for big enterprises to rise?
Stiff competition.
No cheap labour in the east.
Fear of reprisal attacks when his people attacks Igbos in the north...we take bullshit from no one.

Good question.
But before you ask why the richest man in Africa is not investing in the Southeast region, you must first ask why southeastern people are not investing in their own region. When you get the answer to that question, you will automatically know the answer to your Dangote question.

This guy is correct. Not only invest economically, but no political investments. Is it Theo Orji or 80year old Elechi in Ebonyi that did anything tangible for a whole 8 years as gov?

Nonsense

Dangote's 'little' input in the IGR of his home state, Kano helped in the construction of the OBJ Bridge, the longest flyover Bridge in west africa that was commissioned by Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso few weeks ago.

When will all your blood money Heebo business men help you Igbos build the 2nd Niger Bridge?

That guy moves around with a huge question mark the size of olumo rock hanging pricariously on his head. There is no competitive business/trade where he won't be manhandled and out-hustled in the east. But then if there is a word , your dangote loathes with passion, it is competition.

Illiterate, quota system only applies to the public sector. I will not gloat at your ignorance, I will only advice you to look up the concepts of economies of scale, and Porters five forces.

What point? That the one man cottage industry Innoson can survive Aliko Dangote's economies of scale? That post was too silly to be replied, the fact that it was endorsed by owokobiri certifies its idiocy and should have been a cause for concern.
Yes that one man cottage industry enables a war torn £20 people to get into middle class range to achieve MDG goals ahead of not only Dangote's industries and tribe but the most sofisticated tribe in the world which you belong

You should do the reading, desert rat! I hate freebies! You are talking to a graduate who has never drawn a CV to hunt jobs before. Competition, merit, high standards, that's my creed. Managing ex dictators billions in a skewed economy does not really demand vintage inventive business acumen. Dangote is mediocer and will be outclassed in the east without the help of state powers.

The answers is simple, Dangote is addicted to monopoly where he can ban other people's goods and sell his alone(Remember Ibeto saga) but monopoly hardly flourishes in the east where every city has it' s own group of capitalists.

With Ibeto,Guo,Innoson and very numerous businness tycoons already domiciled there it would be bad idea for Dangote to start there(he will be chewed raw by the stiff competition).....tis like asking GM to go fight for market dominance in Japan, the hometown of Honda,Toyota,KIA,Mitsubish etc....Tis good thinking to fight for dominance in the neutral grounds of Southwest and the rest of the country....You know how those slaves enjoy paid employment and pean nuts....no businness acumen, industry or competition.South West is every industrialist wet dream.

And who control the cement market in south east? Dangote or Ibeto cement?

When you answer the above question sincerely, you and others hailing you will realise you made no sense at all.

There are several excuses for failure, but never any for success. In one breath, you say you run the economy... In the next breath you say the economy is skewed in favor of northerners. Can you see how confused you are?

Most people will not be able to compete with ibos as it is right now in Nigeria. If you buy genuine petroluem products to resell, how in the name of God can you compete with people who doesn't have any qualms selling adulterated products?
The same goes for most businesses ibos engage in. However, not all ibo business men are shady but most are.

1) i am not Yoruba

2) i am sure you are dyslexic. Read the thread again. Your fl'atheaded brothers were crying for help

3) The Apapa port in Lagos is federal owned, however Governor Fashola is currently building the Lekki deep seaport in Lagos alongside Dangote's Oil refinery and petrochemical plant which upon completion would argueably be the largest in africa.

4) what has stopped your worthless soutbeast governors from doing same? Why are they crying, begging and wailing?
