With the injuries, Rooney was always gonna be our best bet alongside hererra and aside his wayward finishes, I think he has been pretty decent.

Rooney has been quite good in my opinion. but the point is we had other options we could have used in midfield apart from rooney, but falcao leading our line should not have happened in this match.
we had alternatives to rooney in midfield but no alternative to him in attack. RVP is obviously not fit to start a match and Falcao is just not fit to do anything.
