On his part, highly unprofessional. On the HR's part highly over reactive. that's if the story is not tales by moonlight. Modified My FTC won't waste like that joor Well I dedicate this FTC position to the #saynotoxenophobia campaign and to a better Nigeria that works,so we don't have to over travel out. 73 Likes 3 Shares |

It is allowed to send mail with ur phone provided u are on d field and d mail is time bound. E.g cheque confirmation by an account officer of a bank, who is presently out of office. That is even d more reason why ur official mail is configured to ur phone. 87 Likes 5 Shares |

He wasn't sacked for sending an official mail with his mobile device but rather for making an unprofessional and silly mistake of sending an official mail with d really dumb default BlackBerry signature... Like seriously who uses dat?? I personally find it annoying receiving mails with dat really dumb signature.. 15 Likes |

Logician: The problem is not the official mail, the problem is that dumb sent from my BlackBerry on official mail. If you have been doing it, you should replace it with your company contact Koolmexxi: |

( wait for ur company official policy/ guideline before telling hr that u r smart n u use a smart phone) 2-- if ur company permit 1 then its either u did not follow policy( policy would av stated aw to configure n what to edit) OR 3 3--- HR WANTED TO LAY U OFF. 13 Likes |

He got sacked for using his smartphone to send an official mail? That is complete bullshit! The only slightly justifiable reason he could have been dismissed was if he sent an official mail using his personal email address. I have received tons of mails from ogas at the top with the "sent from an IPAD" clearly inscribed in the mail. FriedPlantain 9 Likes |

He had a crime he had committed. That was not the first time. That was just the culmination of everything he has done wrong. He must have been warned severally in the past. 1 Like |

Re: Sacked For Sending Official Mail With Blackberry by Nobody: 8:15am On Apr 19, 2015 |
Maybe he sent the company's. Document through his personal mail. If he does that, professionally he's wrong, but that doesn't require instant sack, except it against the company's policy clearly spelt out. 1 Like |
